This is cool and thanks for the video explaining what to do! That said... It bothers me that the garter ridges are facing different ways for each rhombus so I'll probably knit 8 rhombuses and then seam them all together, haha!
I'm knitting this one now. I'm still quite lousy at picking up i-cord edge stitches despite the videos but I'm sure it will click eventually with more practice knitting. It's a small issue in the scheme of things which the general person will never see ("oh, your i-cord isn't smooth there") lol.. This shawl will be my first venture into brioche. I trust your teachings to get me to learn my way through it and open up a whole new range of patterns for me to work with. Thank you for the teaching videos.
When you’re picking up the stitches on the parallelograms you never clearly show the tips of them after being picked up. Your hand blocks them. Do you just skip those top stitches?
Okay you completely skipped over in between picking up 24, pm, pick up and k3 m1 6 times pm-should there be another pick up of three on each corner????? Even your instructions don’t say and you don’t give a stitch count so it’s very unclear. Why would you just skip that in the video?????????
Tammy Duvall it's a mystery knit-along. The whole point is that no one knows what the final product looks like until the final clue has been released! The final product should be visible around the end of the month.
Stephen, your knitting mind blows me right away.
I am from the northern states and really miss the snow ❄️,absolutely up my alley 😊

Stephen, I’m a visual learner and this is so clear how do you teach. I can wait to cast this on. Please provide more videos of your patterns.
What a thrill Stephen, happy to start the mystery shawl.
Greetings from Chile
Love it! Thanks for such an easy to follow video! Can't wait to get cast on :)
Super clear, thanks! That’s a very loose fabric though. I shall make mine tighter, I think.

Are you using larger needles to demonstrate than the pattern calls for or should I maybe get larger needles than 5s? ThX for this visual tutorial!
Which side of the first parallelogram do you pick up for second parallelograms?

Is this a smaller version of starflanket? The directions differ slightly from the pattern I purchased
So how does one get the pattern? I just found this and obviously this knit along is done. Thank you!
Ravelry
This too hard i’m lost 😭
Where can i find the pattern?
Janice Myers I got it from his Ravelry.com pattern store.
Is this a starter/beginner/total-knit-noob pattern?
Or is it somewhat more advanced than that?
advanced veteran knitting.. definitely
I did his doodler as my third ever knitting project. So I think it depends on how much knitting community you have
@@Swhoney2 I've only been knitting for 5 months and I'm doing this
