    I've just finished balling my third colour pop.
    Didn't help that I was sick all weekend or that the swift and yarn baller that I had ordered only arrived today. (Other balls were wound by hand.) Oh, well. I'll see how I go, there are definitely one or two new techniques for me to learn.
    UPDATE: (12 days later) I'm now half way through clue 2, so still a bit behind but getting there. There may be a bit of a delay before I get to the second sock.

    Wouldn't the leg make a beautiful sleeve cuff with the 2 colour i cord like a snake? Just needs to develope a head design and a stitched tongue 😊...or for fingerless mitts

    Hi
    How do I knit the heal if I started it with the magic loop needles? Can I just turn the sock? Will it look like the heal is inside out. New to knitting! Not sure if this is a crazy question.

    • @StephenWest
      @StephenWest  19 дней назад

      Hello! You can just turn the work and then slide the stitches along the cable to the other needle to work the back side. Then you'll do the same thing to get back to the right side after you knit the wrong side.

    Did I miss notes if you had to add more rows for the last chevron section at the end of the leg? Or just make sure I have the correct number of stitches for both the cuff and heel?

    • @liliwins
      @liliwins 3 месяца назад +7

      From a really smart person on Ravelry:
      “For the cuff it doesn’t really matter. Pick up what you pick up and then in the first round, tweak the sts amounts to be a multiple of 4, aiming for the sts count in your size, or something close enough. Sneak in m1s or k2togs as needed.
      For the heel flap, if you pick up from the i-cord (or end the pickup there), then the extra chevrons you made in section 4 don’t matter as the pickups involve sections 1 and 2. Just pick up based on the pattern instructions and stitch count for your size.”
