I’m a Webber player, so placing traps around spider nests is super helpful since I can get stuff from spiders without them chasing me while setting the traps. When I get enough silk, I can make fishing rods to catch fish for meatballs. I’m not too good with fighting, so it’s an alternative

As a wigfrid main all i see is free poisonus meat
As a Wigfrid player (not a Wigfrid main tho), what I see is LOTS of meatballs

Tip 1. Another way to hunt beefalo is to get some sleep darts. When you hit one only the one you hit will chase you because sleep darts do 0 damage so the other beefalos won't care. Tip 2. Place some bunny houses around a spider den and the bunnies will kill them easily. The downside is you need to build a lot so the bunnies would kill them easy and will try to kill you when you have any meat except tall bird eggs.
fighting a horde of voltgoats that are charged is basicly fighting 15 wx78 with helmets and the electrecution circuit

You may plant a bunny hud directly upon any spawn point of aggressive respawnable mobs that wander around during dusk time. Since bunnys are pretty strong (especially while in group) and don't eat meat, you may pant then there and come back every morning for some free food and loot laying on the ground, you may need to build some walls if you want then to be killed too.

During the time when beefalo are in heat, you can exploit it.
If you get a beefalo hat, they won't attack. They will attack literally anything that gets close, so lure pigs merms or spiders into the area. Then collect the drops with your hat.

You can use cooked/jerky monster meat and give it to a caged bird so you get eggs

I noticed a specific lack of bunnymen in this equation...
also no mention of using the rock lobsters to distract beefalo in mating season.
another good option to kill beefies is by giving them grass and lead them away from their herd; oh, and that tallbird-only-one-target-thingy doesn't seem to work in multiplayer, I usually save my mates by taking the aggro off them by force attacking the bird
once i relized i was chasing down a wild varg....... thank god for pig village.

Also make sure your starving and insane to. Wilson and or any other characters go really really fast and kill anything in one hit when they get desperately in need of food .

if you lure away *initial* spider wave just *half* a screen from the spider den, then you can safely dispatch them. No spider warriors will emerge, and if you time your attacks - you get no damage. Now give three meats to bird for three eggs, and mix 1 meat and three eggs in crock pot for easy meatballs. Thats easy meat.
great video, i would love to play with u dst...i hate playing with random people and i need someone to show me around ruins, because i never explore them....also easy food 4 ever is having spider farm near camp...that means u plant 1 spider egg's and put ton of traps next to them....u can basically farm them 4 ever. And during winter u can use ice instead of vegetables....meatballs 4 life :) or if you are low on hp i like to put 2 monster meats and 2 eggs....but im sure u know all that...its more for newbs.
what if i find my only tallbird spawn in my map and there is over 20 tallbirds on the same screen but still want one egg and that meat?

And wigfrid because the sanity drain just helps her farm some nightmares and she has 200 hp so no worries there,but because i said this this is not the best way to eat it as wigfrid,if tou have a webber,tell them to build spider nest near base for you or mighty wolfgang
Wormwood also doesn't mind since monster meat doesn't hurt his HP and he can easily manage sanity

Butterflies aren’t meat and don’t count as meat. When maxwell says “it’s a flying flower” on inspection I believe it means it’s actually just a flying flower and that’s why you can plant them. For jellybeans, my theory is that Wigfrid is breaking her character to eat them, hopefully we’ll know in the new short, one more thing, this comment was made 1 year ago and I’m not very adept in the DST community anymore but I’m tired and I want to write

When its frog rain best idea is to stand near beefalo, frogs will attack them and beefalo will attack frogs. Seriously i've gotten two ice boxes full with beefalo meat and frog legs :D

I would very highly recommend getting them to fight the goose/moose. The mozlings will take care of the rest.

Holy cow this is amazing info, had no idea about pretty much any of this. Spiders are always a huge issue for me, had no clue you could use traps on them!

I found out myself by sheer luck I think. Its even better on cave spiders
Sincerely, my best farming method is pig village+spider nest. Kill spiders for monter meat, give 4 to 1 pig, make a meaty stew out of 1 werepig 1 monster meat and 1 berry. And the best part is: it works on all seasons.
You can stun lock one spider
I have my own food method:
I build a base near spider den or building in my farm spot.
1. Cooking Monster meat
2. Build a bird cage
3. Give the cooked monster meat to convert it to egg
*_Mine is rabbits+spiders(im webber main so no problems.) i make meatballs. Berries around the base is enough. At winter u can make meatballs with ice(just walk near water till penguins and ice will spawn) at spring meat is easy. Spiders._*

I subscribed, these tutorials are really helpful and I love the humor you put into your videos it just makes it more entertaining and fresh. Great job on the videos, I always have trouble on deciding where to set down base. Maybe you could possibly make a tutorial on deciding where to live for each character or just a general sense of where you should put your home. Thanks for the entertainment! :D

My tip: pick the flowers for rot, because rot is actually better and faster with plants than manure
or pick ferns(good for nothing plants) while you are exploring caves
or just... dont farm

I once found the pig village set piece, and there was many, MANY spider nests too. You can guess what I did. I lured the stupidest mob in the game to the most racist mob in the game. Much easier since I was playing Wilbur (I was using a mod to add shipwrecked characters to dst)
Drying frog legs on a drying rack turns them into small jerky which can be used same as morsels in recipes. This is a decent alternative to Froggle Bunwich if you're trying to make meatballs.
or use four frog legs for meatballs
I don't play this game anymore but this tricks are so useful and the video is so well made and has a awesome humor that are really entertaining

You can kill almost anything with wigfrid if you know how to kite , I managed to kill deerclops and the annoying piece of shit goosemoose all by myself at DST, the only downside was the really low sanity I had at the end. Defintely the goosemoose is the one I hate the most, those annoying pieces of shit ...
Sanity loss is good for nightmare fuel.

quick tip: if you kill many catcoons you will spawn the krampus. So, when you kill a catcoons you get 5 points of "madness", if you reach 44 the krampus kill come:
1 krampus - 1 - 49 days
2 krampus - 50 - 99 days
3 krampus - 100 - ... days

Huh. I always use werepigs to farm meat. And use the pig tails to make more pig houses so I can get more werepigs and more meat AND MORE AND MORE.
Oh yeah, I also have some spider farms to make sure I have the monster meat I need for regular meat.

Kite the deerclops to beefalo for easy meat, be sure it's not the last herd. Also when frog rain happens go to the moose goose, the frogs will kill her, but she will kill several dozen frogs before dying, so 30ish frog legs + the meat off the moose goose, the frogs will kill the moselings after as well if it's still raining, or you can before the moose goose dies.
Hey James Bucket, you can git 6 times on beefalo and koalefant so its not 4-5 times. Maybe you could hit 7 times with a lot of speed boosts
One time I got killed by a Koalafant in vanilla DS because Wilson decided to casually pick up a flower instead of running.
I know a great trick if you screw up in Don't Starve:
Right before you died or made something you didn't want PRESS ALT + F4, This will cause the game to close without saving, and when you came back, you will "magically" be alive again without the error made. You have "Get back from a horrible future" :D
Don’t starve easy meat part 3 “Ewcus has perfected all martial arts, good meat’
You forgot one creature: Buzzards! Easy source of morsel, drumstick and jet feather. All you need to do is place meat on the ground, any kind, then when it comes down, smack it with a hambat 2-3 times. Thier drops attract more buzzards, meaning more potential kill. Only downside is that, they're found in the desert, usually near hound mounds.
There is always the fire method, but it is a bit cheatsy. Only for players who want to exploit it. Put fown two pig houses(or rabbit hutches or both) in a close proximity and put hay walls around them. Then cover them with stone walls and have 4 fligos on the corners. Set it ablaze with 2 flingos on and get free meat and pigskin. You can also have a rabbit and spider farm, inaswhich when afternoon comes, then the rabbits will attack the spiders=free food. As long as you get the good first, you're good. There's also silk and glands you can farm.

beefalo aren't dangerous, but koala's... yeah those deal FIFTY damage. also you can hit koala's and beefalo's 6-7 times inbetween attacks, but 7 times requires absolute perfection.
I just watched a bunch of penguins and beefalos in heat fight and the penguins won... Now I have a lot of meat lmao
