I definitely not a fan of mezco figures, but man I'm so glad you finally got it! I remember how often you mentioned it in your streams. So I'm glad you got rewarded for your patience!
This was such a well done video. There should be more views for sure. I think other reviewers gave this figure a bad wrap which is why people opted to not watch this one. I can tell you put a lot of effort into this one so appreciate that
I completed watching this video, and this is your best and most refined and overall best quality and best organized review, now you've created something (despite the views or lack thereof) superior to any other RUclips reviewer, I've never seen a better look review overall of anything that is also as entertaining. Now, I'd happily accept more jokes, more entertainment value, while still retaining this high level of quality or exceeding it even. There were a lot of jokes, funny impressions, comments, funny enthusiasm, all kinds of stuff that was great, it also "sold" the figure very well, Mezco should consider this their very best review for this figure and even their whole line through it, if someone could email this to them it might get you some special favor. This video was able to convince me how good this figure is and that it looks great (though it is unlikely that I'll ever own it due to the price). You really do seem to have the very best version of each so far and great taste in being able to see and select what truly looks the best of all for each version out of the options available. I don't think it will be easy for anyone to beat this version in the 1/12th scale with all the license restrictions and other issues, so this is likely to be the very best for a long time. Did you mention in the video your concern with staining it? That is probably a worthwhile concern to address for these sorts of figures, I'd be really worried how hand oils or sunlight and other things might influence the fabric or coloring and then how one might clean any issues. Also, seeing things fall apart like how the belt opened up was worthwhile to, in order to see how handling the figure, even pretty carefully, can cause little issues that might be frustrating or disturbing for some people. Out of all your reviews though so far, this seems to the best of all them, the best looking, you might even consider it making a channel trailer potentially. It has the highest level of professionalism and just the best quality overall (which might not even be what people are looking for or attracted to for the most part on RUclips). The only improvement, even though there were lots of jokes and things, would be even more of that, since that is my favorite element of the videos, and the visuals were great, particularly of the figure and being able to see it looking so good with that camera and the lightning conditions. A minimizing of "boring" elements and a maximizing of "comedic" and "jokey" elements might be best, even when discussing more refined or boring things, finding an opportunity to speak loosely, irreverently, enthusiastically, emotionally, being cute about things, being silly about things, all that at every opportunity and non stop. Also, the speed can be increased overall, and all the same stuff might be able to be covered at a faster pace even, since it is possible people are now moving away from the longer form content except if they can constantly have their attention held somehow, though tangents are fine so long as they are entertaining or give people a sense of receiving personal insights and raw, deep, unedited thoughts and considerations. Really great job, and I'm all caught up, so now I'm going to go out and buy some cheese in honor of Wolverine and this review, since he is so heavily cheese themed, with all kinds of slices and cheese cutting tools built into his hands. Even wedge shapes on his sides. Balls of cheese under his cheese colored clothing that show through when moved, and cheese colored skin as well, which works best with this figure in particular and maybe not so much with some of the others who aren't as cheese themed. In X-Men the film, I'm pretty sure Wolverine was up at night looking through the fridge for cheese also, and then seeing Jean Grey and deciding between trying to seduce her and eating cheese, but the choice is an easy one, and the one that I'm going to make right now.
Got one and love it. Building a diorama to pose with my Mezco Cyclops, Gambit, and Cable. I wouldn't call them better than any other brand but, they're definitely different artistically and won't be everybody's cup of tea.
Looks cool. I'm not a fan of the ripped away battle damage head swaps.. They don't match up with the pristine suited bodies they are attached to. It's like he stuck his head in a lawn mower to have a look around.
Mezco has been winning me over with their recent releases. I adore The Crow and their Rumble Society stuff. I'm looking into getting some of their older stuff and this Wolverine is at the top of the list, since I can't find my preferred Mafex Wolverine for a decent price. Really do wish he was shorter but all the extras and those amazing face sculpts!
Cool review Dave, I was looking forward to getting this but did not after watching Anthony's custom review. There are some good points on Mezco especially the accessories. Cheers mate.
Best review of this Logan hands down. I love this figure in hand. I'd grade 9/10 but yeah he is one of the best Marvel Mezco offerings. No on the sock thing though lol. I swear that is your new gripe from fabric capes haha. Great job mate!
Make sure to wash the base or air it out for a day so that the paint doesn't seep into the figure fabric, also the mezco old stocky looking body people use to make fun of would fit wolverine
Appreciate this in-depth review, including your "Sock-It-To-Me" scale! 😅😅😅It's probably the main reason why I've stayed away from Mezco costumed comic book figures all together (but Iron Man and Doom look amazing). With that said, I'm finally getting my first Mezco figure from their Rumble Society Hoodz line: Vapor. When it comes to non-iconic super heroes/villains, they know how to make fun, colorful action figures! Keep up the great content, Dave!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I agree that silver paint around the lips looks weird on the berserker head. Thanks for the in-depth review! I’m probably way behind the times, but I think the trunks on this figure look a lot better than the shorts the brown costume version of this figure was solicited with forever ago.
I found two of these today at my local comic shop, a day after watching your 3Q Top 10 list where he came in at #1. I bought both of them. You totally knocked me off the Mezco wagon, Dave. 😅
Nice looking Wolverine and review Dave 👍 For my 💰 though, the Hasbro animated VHS figure for $27 works fine in my display, especially w/ the picture frame 🖼 and alternate head/hands. Cheers 🍻
No paneling!! I hate that part of Cyclops but I love this Wolverine. 😄 I still like the Mafex a tad better but this is on par with the Marvel Legends considering it’s price point. Great figure and Model review. 😉
If the head was a touch smaller he would have been shorter based on that alone. Btw I love your reviews man. I think you should reach out to McFarlane and Super 7 for free stuff to review. Because you’re honest and know how to criticize a figure with a delicate enough hand.
The proportions just dont look right to me. Just looks too chunky. I may be a little biased as i hate cloth goods on 1/12 scale figures. I still think the mafex is the definitive version, but each to their own.
I haven't watched this video or completed the live stream, I'm half way through that one. I wanted to recommend this shocking thing for Good News though: " Rugrats Supersize Reptar Vinyl Figure " and the wild price for it (295 bucks on Big Bad Toy Store). I enjoyed the beginning of this video and also the joke about the younger David from only slightly earlier. I will watch this properly after I finish the livestream, hopefully it will stay up so I can see it. It is almost 2:00 A.M. here though so I'll have to catch up tomorrow. I really liked the live stream and was enjoying what I've seen of it so far!
Definitely one of the best Wolverine figures of all time, all the accesories just complete the package very well. That awesome centinel will help alot in the display! Wolverine is my favorite Marvel character so i needed to have this incredible piece in my room, great video Dave 👍👍
To me the strips are to small. If the were longer mainly the shoulder ones and a bit thinker it would have looked better because as it is its to much yellow. Also think they should have made more detail on the fabric and spruced it up kinda like cyclops because for the sholder they go for relizim but the fabric is very cartoony so if the made it look more layered it would have been awesome. Also wish they made the shoulder pads bigger
Got him. My 2 complains, red belt falls easy, and blue should be different tone. Other than that I love him, and give me taste of Mezco Superman, Spiderman, Green Goblin.
The Mezco is okay. But for my money I still say the Mafex tiger stripe or brown suit Wolverine are the better figures and the BEST in 1/12 IMO. Its just something about that way Mafex does their comic based figures that give you that quintessential look that I love about 90's comics.

Plus, it was Morph anyway, so Wolverine was most likely saved by choosing cheese over night time infidelity with Jean Grey.
