Due to there not being Touristenfahrten (public driving) this weekend, I thought it would be a good time to take a look at the best moments I filmed in April on the Nurburgring Nordschleife during Touristenfahrten. You will see fails (spins & lucky moments), wins, strange cars and funny moments. April is always a very interesting month because the weather ranges from beautiful sunshine with over 20 degrees to minus temperatures with snow. Considering the high fuel prices, the track was actually really busy in April which was great to see! Let me know which moment was your favorite in the comments below!

Agreed...I watched a BMW driver do a burnout while turning onto another street and went straight into the ditch...rolled it onto its side was the highlight of my week
98% think they r Lewis Hamilton..but in reality they dont even know how to leftbrake or counterstear
@itp5x5 The whole thing about BMW drivers is that they dont need booze to feel the "positive" effects of alcohol : i.e. self confidence and disregard for their and others safety. Positive only as opposed to loss of control and reaction time of course.

It's all fun and games until you realize how much dirt that Volvo dragged onto the track creating a hazard for other drivers. I'm sure the track officials had a few choice words for this "driver".

Jake Bullington....German privacy laws, the other cars are fair game, until the insurance companies look at these video's......which they do I'm sure....tape over the plates , sorted

Seeing motorcycles on the track with the cars is scary as hell. Obviously being hit/run over is a huge concern but also the cars kick dirt/sand/gravel onto the track and can blow large amounts (much more than a motorcycle) of oil and coolant onto the track surface. Hats off to the riders. They have VERY large balls.
And some are actually driving faster than the ones in the vids, so yeah, hats off to them ;)

@@maxence95 Riders are actually a big nuisance on the track. They go slow in the corners, hog other drivers who want to go past and accelerate on the straights
@@jellekorthuis9018 yeah it's pretty hard for them to go round the track. Somes are a pain in the *** to go slow and not let you pass on the straight. Or don't know the track at all, like some car's drivers ^^.
But i did see somes driving like hell and being faster than cars, eventually^^
Should be a car only day, and a bike only day. This is waaaaaaay too dangerous. I don't even understand why this track is open too everyone who just got their license.

It's good to see people using a track like this and not the public roads 👍
But when TF is running, it becomes a public road, governed by German Traffic law.

@@richardgiles2484 it massively helps. As someone who does an occasional track day, although not here yet, I have found myself driving much more appreciatively on the road than I used to. You can never match the thrill of track driving on the road, so there is no need to bother.

This is a really great vid actually , you got some good drifting in here and did you see the trail of rubber that bike left behind wow a lot of good rubber was laid!
They call 'em darkies. Really showcases just how soft even a street-legal sportbike tire can be.
When your max weight is like 700lbs and you don't have to worry about lateral forces, manufacturers can really _lean_ on the compound a bit and get it nice and sticky compared to even the softest slicks on a car.
Went to the Ring from 1969 to 1971 and just love the area we always went to watch the race ..Camping out for 3 days ( Friday to Sunday )..

That looked like the guy from the Heel and Toe channel, that is his daily driver, the rest of the car he has are very noisy..
It's a 325d with the DPF still in place, which kills most of the engine sound.
Always fun to watch them little daredevils.

3:30 - that 740 looks like one of the early prototypes of the modern Volvo XC line, kind of a XC 740....it's driven like one too 👍

Could someone explain to me why some licenseplates are blurred and some are not? Looks like the most blurred plates spins or go mad off-track but some which do arent blurred.

If you like this. If you WANT to do something like this. If you live in California. The Buttonwillow road racing course (3.5 miles long and granted, not as famous) and the Northern California Racing Club are having a track day in October (2022)! The course is great and the guardrails are farther away from the track incase of oopsies. Be prepared to be black-flagged for inspection if you leave the pavement though. GREAT fun!

My old boss had a tesla and it had to have three sets of wheels in the period he owned it as they were fragile as hell, the first set were basically an octagon after five months and it isn't like he was hard on them, his Porsche 911 and rangerover had no problems
