I have a man crush on Kisner. Not really Kisner, but his swing. Now, don’t get me wrong. I cannot duplicate it. Nobody can. But I’m attempting to mimick it and just move towards it. I’m a lifelong player who got down AROUND par in my day. I have never shot under par a single time, but I’ve shot even par s handful of times. Best round= Par at Hounds Ear, Blowing Rock NC from the whites. In fact, during that round, my swing and the ball flight was much like The Kis. I was 4 under after 6 baby. Disaster has struck. I lost my swing three seasons ago. It looks like a monkey humping a 🏈 football. The only thing positive is o have gotten good at scrambling. Scratched out a 74 last year while not hitting a single green. From what I have seen, when Kis is on, he is the best player in the world. And certainly from 140 yards in. He is more than likely going to get up and down in 2 than 3 from 80 yards out. Who else can do that? I’m working on setting my hip just before the backswing and and moving through the ball with a balanced, smooth inside out action, putting a lot controlled draw on the ball. I only have a few shots of Kevin’s to copy. Wish me luck. If this doesn’t work, I’ll throw the clubs (both sets) off of a cliff and dive back into the bottle, never to be heard from again.
