20 dollars an 1 is very good money, there are companies that pay not native even 5 USD, was that easy to get into vipkid mate?and regarding your girl, how did she find the client to work online?is not easy nowadays when you tell a company: i am gonna travel the world, you dont see me in offices, despite with the pandemic many companies are changing to more flexible. It's not easy getting hired with VIPkid as they only hire Americans and Canadians. Dasha has a lot of marketing experience which helped her get the job.
I just got back to Canada in March from teaching in South Korea :) Ive heard of VIPkid and was thinking of checking them out. Thanks for the video! I would love to head to Bali and teach online for a while!
Haha it's good but I happily have moved on recently, teaching is great but not the final place to be in ones career 🤷🏻♂️
Very inspiring stuff! I’ve been working on VIPKid for the past year and plan to switch to a nomadic lifestyle this year. Awesome to see other ESL teachers who are already doing this 👍
Haha I wish I could say that I love the teaching but it's more of a means to an end for me. We are able to live here are travel a bit but you'll find that when there are issues with the internet or electricity it can be very stressful, I'll be making a video in the future with more thoughts on this subject.

It's a complicated question, you need skills that the online market values, for some people that's writing, artwork, planning and organisational skills, teaching, advertising, marketing etc. But for every person it's different. My advice is to do something as a personal project on the side that you hope to turn into a job or business later, more experience always helps.
