My family (husband, 2 sons 13yo & 9yo) and I lived in a camper for almost a year while we were moving cities. We found out we didn’t need as much space or things as we thought we did. We were able to downsize our house by about half which allows us to do more traveling. You are going to have a fantastic adventure!

Wow, that's such an exciting adventure. I'm glad this popped up on my recommended page. Looking forward to catching up and all of your new world cruise videos. I've only been on 5 cruise ships, but Serenade of the Seas was by far my favourite. Perfect size, in my opinion. Large enough to have lots of things to do and plenty of quiet nooks and crannies, but small enough to have a more intimate feel than the mega-ships. The feel of being on a ship, rather than a floating shopping mall. Absolutely loved the outdoor seating area behind the buffet.

Welcome aboard our journey. For this long of cruise royal stored two suitcases and we nested one on each side of those along with the duffel bags so that's where most of them went. Glad you are enjoying 😉

We're almost 20 days in now and it's not near as bad as it may have looked in the video. Quite organized and that's the trick just to keep it neat and tidy and things put away. Up till now things are going great!
I agree. Way way too much stuff. I mean each to their own but I couldnt stand it. I'm a minimalist. I dont think I've owned all those shoes in my life time, let alone take so many pairs along. And the clothes, my gosh, its all just too much. My home doesnt even have that much stuff in it! (And I have everything I need) On a world cruise, is your cabin serviced each day? How on earth would the cabin stewards even get in to clean??? Having said that, enjoy your time. It would be a wonderful experience.

Just finished ICON of the seas on Saturday and it was awesome. Only 7 days and now I have to get back to work. Hopefully one day I’ll be in a position to do the UWC on RCCL my favorite cruise line.
My husband and I would have gone on that cruise if we were not still working. Hopefully there will be another one in the future but for now looking forward to living vicariously watching your adventures.😁
Exactly what I’m doing! I hope remote work and Wi-Fi moves along to the point where I can do this while I’m still working (or hitting lotto or marrying rich would be fine too God if you’re listening lol) 🙏🏻 a girl can dream lol. I have multiple disabilities and very limited mobility already and pray to see more of the world while I can still walk a bit 🙏🏻

All the Royal Caribbean ships we have been on have magnetic walls and ceilings. But we have heard of other cruise lines where this is not the case so be sure to check with your cruise line.

All the Royal Caribbean ships we have been on have magnetic walls and ceilings. But we have heard of other cruise lines where this is not the case so be sure to check with your cruise line.
