Really enjoy your videos. Your know your shit. I have a Avid CNC Desktop Pro build. I was thinking of upgrading from Mach 3 to Mach 4. I use a HBO4 Pendant with Mach 3, Do you know anyway of getting the pendant to work with Mach 4? I am using the AVID CNC Mach 4 Demo program right now. And do you think it is worth the upgrade or just stick with Mach 3? Thank you for any advice.
I am not sure.. I have a Vista CNC pendant and it required a firmware update and a plugin to run with Mach 4... Looks like there might be some forum discussions regarding the HB04 but not having one I don't know how much help I can be :-(
nice teaser. I am building with the clearpath as well and while building I keep torquing them out but hitting the stops. Thats annoying to reset. Have you scripted your way out of that scenario?
I run limit switches on all my axis so I’ve only ever hit limits enough to cause that a hand full of times and then I just bounce the whole system (sorry). One of the challenges about dying like that is that your motion controller (mach3/4) looses track of where things really are in physical space :(.
Do you have anymore information on adding/programming the HLFS from the Clearpath Servos?
Nice tutorial format ❤️
Glad you like it!
hi there, Can i use this to read an input and turn on a solenoid ?
