Enjoyed this. My sons are both dancers (retired now). One does ballet, the other modern, but they both studied under Elbert Watson. You probably don't know that name. He was a principal dancer for Alvin Ailey and danced the lead in Revelations in 1960. Elvin still dances today, and one of my favorites of his is to Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream".
Wow, that's amazing! They taught us quite a bit about both Elbert Watson and Alvin Ailey in university, so I know a fair bit about them and their work. Your sons were so lucky to have him as a dance teacher- what an amazing experience to have! Thank you for sharing this with me! :)
Elbert choreographed a dance for my youngest son's wedding. Rather than the traditional first dance, my son and his new bride danced a ballet. I have this video of my oldest (the white bald one!) dancing in his first program as a professional dancer (he became much, much better!). It's short. ruclips.net/video/YYcedPTAmd0/видео.html

Thank you so much- I'm really glad you liked it! The song was too long for the choreography so had to cut it before the end. Wish it was long enough so that I could have included the whole song! I'm thinking about getting in the studio and choreograph some more and maybe do the whole song! :)
