Dimash was visiting and helping her to perform better as a challenge to her. He made he perform to her utmost. He wasn't competing against her. He did hold back for he was trying to feature her vocals. This is a dynamic performance. I loved ot

She had nothing to lose and everything to gain to pour herself into this duet. All her decades of being a professional shone in collaboration with Dimash.

Chante is a power house in her genre. Also a female singing in her own language. But Dimash holds his own. Each give a great performance. He was visiting Steve Mackie, vocal coach (Jennifer Lopez’s, etc) last year when he was in LA to meet with US /Canadian famous music and film composer and producer, David Foster. Steve Mackie was playing on keyboard and singing gospel music. It is on You Tube. Of course, as he always has said he listened to Michael Jackson and Pavarotti when he was young. He loves different genres of music. Love this. Hope he does more R&B. His English has gotten so good. Dynamite duet! Chante excellent as well.
I would like to know how it was decided that Dimash was paired with Chante. It’s interesting. Also I’m surprised that they didn’t have Dimash perform solo. The Dears will be disappointed. ( I’m a Dear) and a Fawn. Also I support Chante.. she didn’t make the top 4, this was a great performance. This was a showstopper. One of the events to remember and cherish. Like Faouzia’s Desert Rose

Dimash actually explained this morning that Faouzia had requested Dimash as her duet partner but the show producers said no as they wanted her with a Chinese singer to strengthen Canadian/Chinese relations

For me, this Singer 2024 was divided into "Chinese songs" and "Western songs". So, on the Western duet side, this one is the best. On the Chinese duet side, the best is Sun Nan and Liu Huan's.

I think it was ok. I do believe it was not the best song choice. I would of loved to see Dimash and Fouliza be teamed up.
