Oh. My. Word. That is beautiful. I need to learn this song, now. Right. Now.
My only suggestion is this: try to put a little more emotion into the song. You're INCREDIBLY talented and can play the song absolutely flawlessly - now comes the hard part. This is going to sound super duper cheesy, but just try to feel the music, okay? Imagine you're painting a scene with every note that you play. Sometimes you need to lighten up and not pound on the keys so hard. Sometimes you should vary the tempo and slow down, maybe even pause for a beat there toward the end of the song.
Just suggestions! Like I said, you're incredibly talented - you've already shown that. Now just try to get into the song just a little bit more. Good luck! :)
I totally agree with your comment. It is quite interesting that even though you play a piece flawlessly, hitting each note at the right time, right length, right pace there is still something missing. What is the way to make it all "perfect"? It is too vague and difficult to understand for me.
The musicianship will come with age, and the tune will sound less like an etude.
I dunno. I "feel" it when he plays. It's got much more feeling than Alexander Fleming's version, even though normally his ( Fleming's) playing is amazing and full of emotion. This guy tops that. I LOVE this version. Beautiful xx
His timing is just 👌 and he may " slam" the right hand a little but the left is soft and emotive. That's the beauty of the piece. The melody is immediate and urgent and full of passion, pain and desire ( it needs to be heard or "slammed") . It's softened by the accompaniment. That's the delicate duality of it. It's beautiful.
And it isn't rushed through like Fleming's version is IMHO
He's an amazing pianist. I wish I had his accuracy. I think I play with passion ( there's a version on my channel) but I make so many slip-ups. It's so hard to do both.

I thought that was amazing, and maybe I don't know everything there is to know about how you played, but I still felt a ton of emotion through every note and every chord. I absolutely feel that was magical. I know you posted this quite a while back, but please forgive me. I'm older and just discovering all there is on You Tube, and I'm certainly glad I found this.
