Very interesting and informative. Thank you.
IMMENSELY HELPFUL, THANKS!
I have this exact model of hearing aids and I just wanted to point out that there is no actual "directional mode" as the gentleman on the left states at 7:30. Yes, they are supposed to focus on the speaker in font of you and reduce the volume of speakers behind you, but believe me, they do a very poor job of this, and they will pick up the voices of everyone around you. They just don't work in crowded situations for me. If you are looking for hearing aids where you can access and control directionality through an app, you will not find it in these. For this particular model, you can switch between programs (up to 6), adjust volume, and treble and bass - that's all - via the Signia app and/or the Signia Mini Pocket.
Which did you opt for to combat this? RIC model or something else
@@ashb8572 I didn't switch to another type of hearing aid - I just try to avoid crowded, noisy places. Or, if I can't avoid them, I find that people talk louder and/or shout in crowded and noisy places anyway, so I do better without my hearing aids in such situations.
Hi. Have signia now stopped doing these with open domes? All my current research shows only sleeves available for the Silk series. I have normal low frequency hearing so have been told my only option is RIC type aids, but not had success with these due to wearing glasses, masks, and having a shallow concha!! Would love an option like this with little occlusion effect.
No, they still have domes demoed with a pair yesterday.
I appreciate this when this hg aid is able to cover sever hg loss 75/135 HP(high power) rechargeable
Who else makes a rechargeable instant fit iic/cic?

Thanks Ray we will see if we can next time.

Sorry I wasn’t aware it was part of the qualification to be an audiologist!
Are these smaller than the eargo? For smaller ear canals?
I would like to know this too.
We don't have the Eargo in England.
Widex is wireless bluetooth signia has merged with widex
They don't have a Wireless Bluetooth instant fit CIC
whether it is suitable for more than 80% hearing loss? whether have blue tooth connectivity?
No you would probably struggle to find any cic/iic style aid that would cover that degree of loss. We don't however tend to speak in %'s with hearing loss but degrees of severity. If you would like us to recommend a great audiologist in your area who follows best practices please let us know. Happy to have a look at your audiogram to give some kind of indication if you would like info@zone1hearing.com

Not for moderate sever n sever hg loss
Syed Nawaz did the audiologist told you that ?
I myself an audiologist currently employed in Saudi Arabia SIEMENS hearing care center
Syed Nawaz oh okay. Does the CROS version of this model works for moderate to severe hearing loss ?
Silk 7px will be sutable for cross. I personally don't go for NX technology.
My degree of hearing loss is moderately severe and they provide more than enough amplification for me.
