  • HI all,
in this video we have a look at the 2 solar panels I was considering to install on my caravan conqueror uev 490 roof. I was looking to maximise the amount of solar for the install and as part of testing I wanted to find out which 200w flexible solar panel was best for my install between the all powers SF200 and the atempower 200W flex panel.

Hi mate, I’m no help but I have been led to believe fixed non flexible are better for that application. But I don’t really know. I have 2 200 watt panels on the ram and 8 on the van which all work great. Good clip. Cheers Steve

I'm trying to avoid putting 50 odd kg up there. The output has been comparable to the glass panels I've used, so I'm giving it a shot. Only one way to find out. I'm just trying to avoid holes on the roof at all costs. Which leaves me with adhesives. But I want to be 110% sure they're not going anywhere.

Looks like a burn mark from using a gas torch for the nearby heat shrink.

Could be. Based on the other stuff(wiring ) I've seen, not much would surprise me.
