Hi Scotty. Thanks for your four part tutorial. It's a great presentation that explains GE200's functions in a logical and an easy to understand manner. Well done!
I only started playing november '22 at age 38 - got this nice piece of tech yesterday, and it's soooo much fun! Thanks for explaining and demonstrating the device in detail, didn't find out everything on my own :D
Great video, thanks! I've just bought the GE200 and it's awesome. However, I'd like to play live, standing up and using the drum machine at the same time but is there a way to set the CTRL/TAP footswitch the start and stop the drums or would I have to bend down to start and stop it using my finger on the rhythm button? Thanks man, by the sound of your accent you're from my neck of the woods!
Metallica recorded the intro to "Blackened" on their album And Justice For All, and reversed it for the intro to the album. Fun fact, loop reversing can be fun to recreate things like that or your own experiments 🤣👍
Too bad you did not demonstrated the electronic drum along with the loop at the end, would love to see everything working together and the battery function syncing with the loop, anyways, can you guys make some metal oriented demonstrations?
I use this pedal. It has no undo button and the length is about 60 seconds or more, i cant remember. You cant save your recordings or remove anything once in the loop. So the song justs goes on and on and stopping the song is all of a sudden.
I own one, and use the drum machine quite often for practice, but pleasr explain why the bpm changes back to 120 when you change the beat? Can this be avoided?
@@banderilllero yeah, this is a real big omission, reverse? half-speed? I don't think I've ever wanted that functionality on a looper. That said, I still love mine, but I would love it more if they swapped undo for reverse or half speed.
All Guitars in this song are completly recorded with the MOOER GE200 Amp Modeler. Rain Air - Sitz Platz Bleib (Rammstein Style) Official Video ruclips.net/video/xxxjsjRtIRg/видео.html
Thank you for showing how to make a proper tutorial. Outstanding! I do have a question. I just got a 200 and was wondering if there is a way to bypass it entirely and just play the guitar through my amp? Thanks again.
you can set the tuner to "through" and just set it to tuner mode. OR you can set up a patch with all effects turned off. up to you which is most convenient. i tend to write in terms of a concert or album flow so my concert intro will be patch 1 with the volume and tempo already set for that song and just flow through the various tones ill need per part (intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, etc) so hope that helps!
some effects will be more ambient and YES will be in stereo, but depends on how you connect it. (mono left and mono right outs VS USB cable into DAW recording a single STEREO OUT signal)
How come Scotty does not mention that there is no "UNDO" function which is essential for any self respecting looper! If he was being objective and not just trying to sell the pedal, he would of mentioned it.
I actually came to this video because I was checking if mooer pedals have undo function. I have a ge150 and it doesn't. Doesn't mean it's not a good pedal, it's a multieffect, so maybe as a looper some stuff are missing, but UNDO is definitely a must have for a dedicated looper. Meanwhile, it has a "reverse" function. When would you ever need to play your loop backwards???
yep. you can turn on and off whatever specific effects youd like by pressing the corresponding button live, (overdrive, delay, compressor etc...) vs having some preset configurations that would work in conjunction with external pedals
Nobody mentiones the fact that this unit can destroy your guitar speakers. I mainly use this unit like a pedalboard in the guitar channel of my amp. When you accidently push the rhytm button the sound wil come in at full level (12). You cannot store a lower level. After each reboot max. level kicks in! So loud it can ruin your speaker!!!
but you CAN set the volume. you adjust and then save over the setting and every time you go back to that patch, it will be at the saved volume level. its how i write entire concerts with dynamics. (quiet intro loud verse, quiet bridge etc...) if you DONT save, then the sound will stay at the default volume level, but everything IS configurable!

Wonderful and beautiful... No other words for this multi effects!
Great vid man. I'm buying one just for this.
Good stuff Scotty
Wow I had no idea it was this versatile . Thanks.
Bravo Maestro!!!
How do you save
loops and dubs you've made?
Please could you do a similar demo on the GE300?
excellent clear tutorials! even i can understand them! many thanks. i think i'll have to buy one of these!
Fantastic bit of kit. Thanks for the tutorial.

Ye I’d like to know that to
How do you stop a loop and the drum machine at the same time.....????
Wow! Nicely done! Thank you!
How can I make the Exp. pedal a wah wah ....usable in all patches ???
You should do a tutorial of how to do that composition omg 😱
how would it work in terms of stoping the loop in time if i was using it in live situation?
Very useful video! Thank you.
How do you save a loop?

Same concern here. That's exactly what I want to see. I own mooer Drummer and micro looper and damn it's hard to sync both!!
I for one am happy to see a non-metal demo. Seems like metal demos are the only thing on RUclips (and there are definitely some of the Mooer).
PLEASE NO MORE METAL CRAP...gawd it's so old!!! I love heavy, but please!!!
Hallo sir. I have this product., can u tell me where can i get on/off switch for the mooer ge200 pedal efx?😅
Can we get your patch? PLEASE!
Fantastic Scotty
Tracii Guns iiii
Nice informative vid but two questions you didn't cover; what's the maximum loop length and does it have an 'undo/redo' function?
I use this pedal. It has no undo button and the length is about 60 seconds or more, i cant remember.
You cant save your recordings or remove anything once in the loop. So the song justs goes on and on and stopping the song is all of a sudden.
Thank you so much for the tutorial!
However I have a question, how can be deleted a written part of the looper?
Is there any button to power on and off?
Does anyone know how to disable the looper function? I want to prevent it from triggering accidentally while live changing presets on stage
Hi Scott thx for this tutorial. Is it possible to set a bank with 3 presets using one for each switch instead going up and down?
Are we listening to your studio monitors.
Does anybody know how to lock the EFFECT BLOCKS buttons? Just for live performances.
I own one, and use the drum machine quite often for practice, but pleasr explain why the bpm changes back to 120 when you change the beat? Can this be avoided?
On the looper, can the last overdub be deleted without the deleting everything that has been recorded?
Nice piece of gear ;-)
Is it possible to undo the last take without erasing all the takes before, I mean without clearing all the overdubs?
unfortunately....no....but this is a minor oversight. this pedal is a guitar beast!
@@RonnieVaiArovo i fear this is a killer argument, so I can't buy

@@reid1967 Seriously... Reverse and 1/2 Speed are basically useless functions compared to Undo/Redo

How much patches i install in one time
this model can transfer/export recorded loop file to phones/computer?
Does the drums have a full .so I can throw a full in on a loop
Unnecessary effects, but no undo button.. Really?
Very true...an Undo button and a phrase button would be much more useful
Do you have tabs for the looper demonstration :)? It's awesome and I'd like to learn it, I'm a beginner :)

Can we record the drum machine/rythmn together in looper section? it can not be done by GE 100.
can record together? or sync together?
Dose the looper record in stereo? It sounded stereo! Bonus if it dose
some effects will be more ambient and YES will be in stereo, but depends on how you connect it. (mono left and mono right outs VS USB cable into DAW recording a single STEREO OUT signal)
Can we use tap button to control rhythm tempo also??
thats SPECIFICALLY what that is for, but the drums AND the effects will be on the same rhythm
루프 만든거 저장은안되는건가요..??

assolutamente d'accordo - absolutely agree with him

Yup. No UNDO/REDO function on the Looper is a deal breaker. Most of these Effects Processors don't have Undo
Reverse loop is the most useless stuff i ever seen
The fact that there's a dedicated footswitch for it...
Is there any way I can get more dumb beats? More like RnB or more neo soul?
how long the max looping duration for mooer GE200
thx
Hi there, you can find product information by click on this page:www.mooeraudio.com/product/GE200--48.html
Hi can you run this with other pedals going thru it i.e bypass it
yep. you can turn on and off whatever specific effects youd like by pressing the corresponding button live, (overdrive, delay, compressor etc...) vs having some preset configurations that would work in conjunction with external pedals
... 👍 !!
Otra ves primer comentario!! Insisto los de mooer deberían regalarme una pedalera de esas
