Just watched a Q n A with skibba when asked what his favourite set was he said with shy fx and fearless on prophecy in Canada. This set will remain a legendary moment for dnb especially cos at the time you rarely heard dnb mc's in the studio only live on tape packs. A real moment here. RIP Skibadee.

my bud was the 1 who uploaded the original. this is his tape.
Limewire was the bollocks.....found sets on there that never found or seen anywhere else....
OKG2000 or on soulseek (slsk) where producers were giving away everything, kinda negligent ly. If it was on vinyl (90% *) ripper krus (SOUR - sound of the underground kru) would have it up pre release they had a racket, who knows why they put so much effort. Lol. I just wanted tunes and no waay I was able to afford that many even if they were worth. Then Marc Caro. And that fat boring fuck - balding with flock of sea gulls haircut played trash basically. Started with a b. Nigga never made a dollar he was just a hater? Lol
On slsk sub focus (subfocus then I think) gave me his "down the drain" early early basically wip mix. It was the demo that got him signed basically immed It's so dope still. The original sounds like boymerang. Ruffff

this was the set that made me start Mc'ing before me and my mates spent 15 years or so running local nights and residencies and travelling around the UK doing DnB sets. Best time of my Life. Miss it like mad
Pppfff I can't even begin to count how many times I rode the subway to Rotterdam having this set blasting through my headphones going to NightTown for a Drum and Bass party. Smoking spliffs while dancing to wicked tunes played on vinyl in the basement. People all raving and dancing to big tunes and waiting till that next prerelease was played by the DJ. Going to recordshops the next day to buy the new tunes you heard and playing them yourself. Big times.

A SMALL LITTLE HOLE IN THE WALL RIGHT WITHIN THE UINNER CITY THERES A PKLACE CALLED COMFORT ZONE USUALLY ON THE WAY HOME FRIOM THERE THIS WOUYLD BE THE CAR RUIDE HOME TO REMIND ME OF MY ROOTS. MOST LIKELY IF I MISSED THIS SENT THEN THE INTENT WAS TO GO HARD TILL MONDAY MORNING. 89.5 prophecy is what i used to encourage me to call the end of my weekend Marcus visionary

RIP SKIBADEE ❤️ This was my favorite set growing up. I used to bump this EVERY NIGHT riding out to the raves in Miami back in 1999. 25yrs later I still get goosebumps listening to this and remember this whole set by memory. I had the pleasure of meeting him and we actually kicked it for 45mins and the absolute NICEST GUY EVER! He was the reason I started DJing and producing DNB. Changed my life. RIP to him and prayers to his family. He was and always WILL be a legend. Best Junglist MC to EVER touch the Mic.
Absolutely bro! Miami had some awesome raves. The Mix afterhours was amazing, and then Space when it first opened. Full Moon productions also had some bad arse DNB and Jungle nights. RIP SKIBADEE!!!

Just saw an interview with Skipadee and Stormin and Skipadee said this was his favourite set.... That was a 5yo interview but this is class.
I seen him say the same thing…it what I believe was one of his last interviews…
the mcing over mampi swift - second strike into trace -sonar is simply dnb at its best. dark rolling proper drums and bass and decent mcing. shy fxs selection is on point the whole way through this set, all three in their prime. great to hear again after all these years
it wasnt shy fx mixing. pretty sure is was marcus. shy refused to play on the setup there and skippy needles

So many good memoriez in the car on the way to the first rave club I used to go to every weekend. This was the tape we used to pump up for the party every time! I met ShyFX years later at a club in Chicago. Those guys left him behind to do Planet Of The Drums and all that.
