lovejays Japanese is a spoken fast language. Most sentences are short phrases or even one word stems. It is hard if you don't practice much. Everything is hard when you don't put your ass to work hard for something.
I think its good to talk about such a spesific subject because then the works are repeaded often enough to catch them. Also, I like it when the question is repeated over and over again. This way I can remember it!
That’s because jimejime was the only important part. The rest she just had to roll out of duty to finish the sentence. We do the same in English all the time. The rest is something you’re used to hearing all the time or saying all the time so you don’t pay attention to that part and neither does the listener. They hear it as one single thing

What is the purpose of "dato" as used in 0:37 ? could somebody explain please!
The "to" is used to mean "if" and the "da" comes from "desu"
"ame no hi da" = "it's a rainy day"
"ame no hi da to.." = "if it'a rainy day.."
❤🙏
