And he forgot to mention that they are slow to mature and develop this incredible ruff around the neck that looks like a lion's mane when they are about 4 yrs. old. AND he didn't mention that the white gloves have "laces" running up the back of the leg. They are believed to have originated in Burma near the border with Thailand and 1,000 years ago may have cross bred with Siamese where they got their color points. I had a Baby Blue Birman (the lighter color blue-grey), absolutely magnificent! He lived to be 16 yrs old. And you can tell from the video that they do talk a LOT but it is in those muted tones just like the video. So incredibly SWEET!!!!!

Where can I find a Birman cat breeder that is very honest and conscience with healthy kitties? I have had no luck locating a good breeder.
I am having the same problem in Canada for they either shut down their cattery or they have a 1 to 2 year waitlist
