      Can you do the same with Helix Floor/LT?

      That was a fun afterthought. I didn’t dive into it but it’s the Fractal Wah block with a cry baby controlled with an expression pedal. Thanks for checking it out!

    That was a spectacular video. Q: are you able to reamp into a tube amp without using a DI (like the suhr?) and just going directly out of one of the FM9 outputs into the amp?

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks! So glad you liked it! The simple answer is NOOOOOOOO!!!! A tube amp ALWAYS needs a load. Wether a a speaker cab or a load box. Running an amp through a load box as I did with my Suhr Reactive Load converts the signal to a line level. The signal coming out of that amp is super hot so do not go straight into the modeler...that wouldn't be good for any of your gear :)

      @@LonelyRocker that makes sense, could I come out of a fractal into an amplifier and go into an ox? Or do I still need something between the fractal and the amplifier? Thanks for taking the time!

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  5 месяцев назад +1

      In my setup I am going straight out of the fractal into the amp as I demonstrated in this video. The load HAS to be after the amp and into the fractal....

    Do people do this for live performances? I've always wanted an Axe FX. But I love my Engle Fireball 100. When you switch channels on the FM3/FM9, does it change channels on the Engl too?

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  7 месяцев назад +1

      Absolutely....many do this live. The fractal's do have midi but I see people using an external midi amp switcher to control the physical amp so you'd need one extra piece of gear to make that happen.

    Hey LR! I am new to the FM 3. Can you do a patch which is a kind of blueprint for pairing the ToneX (Amps) with the Fractal. It's a tricky thing to do that, because of the In/Outputlevel of the Tonex. Thx in advance....

    • @LonelyRocker
      @LonelyRocker  7 месяцев назад +2

      Hey there! I actually did a video where I paired TONEX with my Helix. I can totally do that for the Fractal. I can upload a preset to my Patreon or stay tuned and I’ll get that video onto my list of things to do.

    Hey Lonely! Just got my FM9 this week...and boy it sucks like a donky's ass!!! I have no 1 preset that sounds nothing like no ne from youtube!! what did I buy!!!!>???? From my tustful BOSS GT-100!!! Now, if Neal Sean is using it in concert, is not a scam. obviously I'm doing something wrong! They advise to turn Cabinet Modeler off (rocket science lingo)...I have: strat usa -> FM9 -> Hughes & Kettner clean channel no effects from the amp....any help is greatly appreciated it! I'm regretting the $2K I spent!

      Well the biggest mistake you are making is plugging into the front of a tube amp. You’ll never hear what it can do that way. That’s like plugging an amp into an amp. You should research how best to monitor it and then you’ll discover how great it sounds.

    Switch on valve amp.
    Plug guitar into amp with cable.
    Play guitar.
