Jordan has been searching for his missing father for 37 long years but without success. Now having watched one of our previous success stories on finding missing people, Jordan is hopeful that if he tells his story on youtube someone somewhere may know who his Father his and maybe someone will be kind enough to donate an Ancestry DNA test kit so that he may have a greater chance of reuniting with his Dad. This is Jordan's own story of nearly being aborted and growing up without his father, he is speaking directly to our viewers on our channel.

Hi Leah and Blair. I think the first perhaps is check the Jordanian Embassy, his name and year he entered the Philippines. This will keep track of the address. The son has to explain to the Embassy is just to unite with the list father, nothing financial support etc. Sometimes if the Embassy felt it’s a burden they might not cooperate. Just to meet the father he long for to meet since birth nothing else. With the DNA test result can help facilitate the whereabouts. We’re again in supporting you both Leah and Blair. Prayers for this young man. Check with the college. Dont expect the father to acknowledge him if located. This would bring shame to his family and that is not acceptable in that culture. So very sad. Btw his mother did an amazing job raising this young man alone. Such a courageous woman.

My heart goes out to this young man. He has a pure soul in seeking out his (expletive) father. On the other hand, he should be ready for anything. If his father is found and acknowledges him, God bless them both. If not, karma will work its way. That's all I can say.

I think he’s already “hit the jackpot” to have a beautiful family….and do hope his father has, over time, regretted his actions.
You're father is not worth your love. Not sure if your father will even want to see you if they are able to track him. But don't lose hope. Let's pray that Destiny will be kinder to you this time around.

Jordan is a lovely man, who has struggled with the knowledge of being abandoned, some men want to be found, by leaving a trail, but clearly not this man, a man that certainly didn't want, or more so, doesn't deserve to be a father of Jordan... Jordan has become a committed father to his 3 boys & his focus now should be, being the best Dad he is capable of being for his sons... I also get his hurt & pain but often life is not fair... sometimes we need to live & learn, then move on, not allowing this situation to be a Millstone around our neck crushing all the good & love around us, because we can't lift our head high enough to see... Personally, no offense, that kind of Jordanian father doesn't need to be known because he is irresponsible and a fool. Trying to run away, which the gesture is totally intentional and bad motive. He is only taking advantage of his mother that time and most probably offer her promises and marriage. Anyways, I have a similar story from a family close friend who works as a nurse in New York, USA as a registered nurse. She met the father of her daughter in New York hospital were they worked together. The Indian Muslim guy presented himself as resident doctor and a bachelor. The doctor courted her and promise to marry her as soon his internship is over. Soon they were couple and untimely she got pregnant, informed the doctor about the situation and got a cold shoulder in return that he doesn't like to marry her since she is a christian. The Indian doctor's alibi is If she marries her, his family knows this matter, he will disown him and stripped of inheritance. So when our friend heard his reasons. Eventually our friend sent 2 weeks notice and resign with her work in the hospital were they worked together. She raised her daughter alone without the father's any financial support. The father didn't even bother to check both the mother and daughter condition or pay them a visit as years gone by. So our friend decided to forget the Indian guy and told her daughter when she was in 5th grade regarding her father. The child understood the situation and became successful and is now a registered nurse in New York. Her mother is already retired. Last April we attended her daughter's wedding in Long Island, New York but there is no father presence. Her daughter asked her father to come and walk her to the aisle but no show. Instead, her Uncle walked her to her wedding together with her mother.
So with this similar situation, I have a gut feeling the Jordinian father is totally abandoned him. If the father is really looking for him for years. He could have met him now and come back in the Philippines. Granting if he has already a family of own, you know as signed of respect and accountability to his mother to himself. He could have communicated with them. The gesture of his father according to his Mom is totally unacceptable. This is my personal take on this video. The father is not worth to be known. Sorry to tell this guy but hey, I might be wrong. Who knows perhaps the father could have a change of heart when they meet each other. Wish him all the best in life. Your mum is the hero in this story , I hope you get to find out and or meet your biological father , but your mum sacrificed so much by the sounds of it so you could have a life and so your children could have a life also ( if she had of done what your father said then non of you would be here ) , she sounds like a very strong woman to put her baby’s life first before her own, it can’t have been easy . Blessings to your mum she sounds like a wonderful person , I really hope you get to meet your biological father but the culture he is from is the reason he rejected you before you were born and I’m not sure that stance would have changed , hope I’m wrong , you sound like a lovely guy and you have a beautiful wife and children and a very very special mum ( we don’t all get to have special mums in this life , you are very very blessed that you have an amazing one

Your mum must have and idea what year your father enrolled in the school you think he studied to whittle down the list, as there are few Jordanians studying in that school. For sure the school keeps records of their alumni. If the school will not help for confidentiality reason, ask the court to help you. From there maybe you can find out who your father is.
I hope and pray this young man is able to locate his father and/or his paternal relatives. Good luck and prayer to St. Jude for help in this journey.
if the school cannot provide a list of names. then one should be able to find some of his schoolmates who can tell the father's name.

I can relate to this story. I knew a baby girl half Jordanian too, also left by a student during that same year. From what the last information i knew the woman & baby girl just returned to Cebu. I wish to doing well up to this time. That baby girl now same aged with Jordan Philip! I knew them personally, talked to that student why he doesn’t want to have a future with his gf & baby, he said because his Muslim parents back in Jordan is very strict, his whole clan will not accept his impregnated relationships due to his already set for re-arranged marriage to his cousin back home! Before almost Mid East foreign student knew each other, they had a communities of some sort! Try to find some Jordanian owned restaurants in Manila… some stayed permanently in the Philippines and formed their families here. They might knew your dad. But i will not give you false hope, some they will not really tell the truth even they knew your father cause that’s how they protect their ethnicity of this nationalities!
Heart breaking... The father probably has relatives in the US who can help locate him for Jordan after the DNA test. Hang in there, Jordan!

If he gets rejected assuming contact is made he will feel worse. Muslims only marry within there faith. He will have his own family and definitely will not want to be contacted by the past. Some things are best left alone.
@@jeffuk3940True some people are ignorant of Muslim people's culture. They will not be as compassionate as the Filipinos regardless of your passionate appeal. Muslim's loyalty belongs to their religion and culture more than anything else. For me, he should be thankful that her mother stood by him through those 37 years. So, Jordan understand the Jordanian culture and adjust your expectations based on that. I am praying for happy ending but we also need to be realistic that their culture is different from us. Thus, there is a big risk that you never be able to find him. if Christian jerks are difficult to dealt with, how much more an Arab Muslim 😢
Check the school where your dad attending his college...at the age of 18 the school can find his name...
I am half Syrian. My father left when he realized that his family in Syria would get to know that he had children with black women. These people in that part of the world are very racist. As a young man I quickly realized what was going on and I just erased him from my system. My motto is that if you are ashamed of me then why should I care a rat's whisker about you. I can afford to purchase DNA kits and I refuse to do so. I really do not care about these people. I am a proud black man.

A DNA test will connect him to any relatives however far removed they are IF they are in the DNA system.

DNA test wouldn't be of help if the other party was never in the database which is in the USA. Of course ethnicity region will be ID but surely be a whole continent

The problem of the embassy not only jordanian embassy. Embassy, that represent foreign countries. Cases like ths. Atleast you need one of thr citizen to represent or witness for you. You just can't walk-in to the embassy and tell your story. That's the sad part.

Your father should be the one looking for you his son and not the other way around.
By that character of your father to abandoned you it means that he is not a good person. I think it's better for you to forget him. You'll be frustrated if he will reject you the second time. Just forget him.

Are you able to access his school records by legal means? I hope the Philippines can assist you as a compassionate act. The year, the school, and his national status would be adequate. Hopefully, the records are still protected.

I'm an American who runs 2 blogs kuwaitichildrenleftbehind and qatarichildrenleftbehind, my Friend runs saudichildrenleft behind. I'm a mother of a Qatari daughter whose father left, I tried to fight the system in Qatar, sadly any father who is of Arab nationality is extremely hard to prove without a marriage contract. I made a DNA case in the Qatari court but was denied due to no marriage contract, even with pictures and written proof. Arabs don't usually take any DNA tests or kits as they know their whole lineage with their names, their 2nd name is their father, 3rd is their grandfather and so on. I really hope he can find his father but it will be very difficult from my experience.

If not yet, then in this case:
1/ contact the Jordanian embassy in Manila
2/ also contact directly the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Jordan, because Jordanian students who study abroad are always registered with this ministry but also with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan .
Surely, they will find Mr. Philip's father in the registers!
