My favorite resto in Chinatown is the Maison VIP, It's on Clarke near Lagauchitiere. Love the spring rolls, and ginger lobster. The cantonese chow mien is also awesome.
This was one of the best and most informative videos, Thank you. I love how it had highlights from other videos I watched! Leaving for Montreal In 2 days and our hotel is in walking distance from Chinatown. Cannot wait!
I used to go to the Poon Kai buffet regularly when I was in my 20s and living in Montréal. Also there was a nice bakery on Gauchetière, named Bao. Now I like one hour away and I don't go to Montréal that often. I will certainly return to the Chinatown soon.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
My first time going to Chinatown (with friends and not with parents) was for my 15th birthday. My friend wanted to prank me so as a "present" he bought me some dragon's beard candy. In this video, you'll note that they say "put it in your mouth and shut it" because if you don't, and you try to exhale/speak, a flurry of the white stuff comes spewing out of your mouth! Kinda like a dragon breathing fire, except that it's sugary goodness haha 😂🤦🏾♂️
Montreal and Quebec is a open minded society ... i wish immigrants would speak up to the rest of Canada when bashing on us treating us racists ... when i visit Toronto , i cannot speak french and everything is in English . I live on the south and Chines in Brossard speak english not french ... respect also our culture
Montréal is the coolest city on Earth, and Chinatown there is one of the important parts that makes it that way. So much fun!
Thank you! Merci! I am planning a trip to Montreal. And, from where I am, watching all this great food being enjoyed is a form of pleasurable torture.

Ah, I broke my own heart. I miss this place so much, we haven't been there since Dec 2019. I hope it gets designated historical. ❤️

dragon's beard candy is the best. it's very hard to find freshly made ones in Hong Kong nowadays
