SeaLegacy 1 joins the over 1 million vessels that have crossed the Panama Canal and journeys onto its next adventure, Coiba Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site off the coast of Panama and Central America's largest Island. Be brought aboard as Cristina Mittermeier and Paul Nicklen continue SeaLegacy 1's path to raise conservation to new levels by taking it to what may be the only time the catamaran touches freshwater and onto the crown jewel of Panama to sail along the newly sanctioned marine protected area. Go below the waves with our storytellers and expert diving host Francisco to see firsthand what it truly means to have a protected marine park and experience the beautiful moments it allows when different sectors of the community work together on behalf of our planet. We have a luxury hotel in Panama close to Coiba and go all the time! It’s incredible. There is definitely narco activity but we have never ever had any contact or any issues. We go with our kids, sleep on boats in the park and send all our guests. We were whale watching yesterday. In 12 years we have never heard of an issues with narcos in the park…❤
