“The principal task of a conductor is not to put himself in evidence but to disappear behind his functions as much as possible. We are pilots, not servants.” -- Franz Liszt
Wow, the storm is stormier than ever in the piano arrangement. I think the piano arrangement is stormier than the original symphony. I guess that is to be expected of an arrangement by Liszt. I just haven't noticed that different of a character between the symphony and the piano arrangement before, even amongst Liszt arrangements. For example, the Liszt arrangement of Beethoven's Fifth sounds the same in character to the original symphony.
6:34 love how he adds some notes on the bass part on the ‘ten.’ octaves
The fourth movement is a masterpiece ⛈️
Emporer Katsaris is a phenomenon, a true force of nature
III Allegro 0:05
IV Allegro 5:43
V Allegretto 9:28
Thank you
Awesome! Been waiting for the last movements
This is incredible
Totally awesome! I wish Beethoven could hear this fantastic arrangement.
Finally a music with no dislikes 😀

what’s your point? Isnt that a great thing?
Caters Carrots you’re noticing a greater difference because of Katsaris additions. He’s a genius.
Klemperer conducted a storm!

This could be hookfang's theme.

Mvmt 4 looks like Wagner's music !
Katsaris has an aggravating habit of needlessly rushing passages.
