Good tips, and I like the tip of the hat to your friend. Classy. :) I'm doing a lot of research on everything... but my problem is that I tend to keep researching and studying, and never get out the gate! lol Routers tend to scare me a little, and from what I've learned so far... they deserve a lot of respect.
Hi Blake... I am currently using the Rode Wireless Go microphone from Amazon www.amazon.ca/Rode-Wireless-GO-Microphone-System/dp/B07QGGBNMN/ref=sr_1_2?crid=KDTMY3TEW9JI&dchild=1&keywords=rode+wireless+go+2&qid=1619372490&sprefix=rode+%2Caps%2C299&sr=8-2 I have experimented with adding a lav microphone to the sending unit but found that it is too sensitive and picks up my heavy wheezy breathing. I prefer to use just the sending unit tucked into the front of my bib. I also have more recently been optimizing the sound quality post production using Davinci resolve 17 software. I try to make the voice overs consistent by using the same Rode wireless mic directly to my PC but am considering upgrading to a dedicated studio mic setup. Thanks for your interest and comments, I am considering doing a vlog on my complete videography process as I have had a few queries now and it is probably time I reveal some of the secrets behind the camera. Not that it is too fancy yet.

What kind of Rode mic are you using there? Sounds good and I am looking for one.
