I found this video less than a week ago and just now I was finally able to play through on my own while singing the song (not without annoying everybody in my house first haha). You sir, are a great a guide and I thank you!!!
Alan - thank you for putting these videos out, you are the best instructor! I needed someone to tie in the strumming patterns WITH the cords and you do that for every song. Alan, This one is great! For someone that claims not to be a great vocalist your range in this song is pretty great, you hit it right on. If I may ask, how do you pick your songs for tutorials?
Great video. I've watched quite a few of them already. It would be nice if you can add lyrics to the bottom of the video while you are singing the normal speed version so that we can practice it along with you. I (and maybe others too) would really appreciate it if it is not too much extra work. Thanks.

Benjamin Driscoll change from your chord to bar chord slowly over time is will build speed. Also, make the bar chord and hold it for a strums, remove your hand wiggle your finger and put back for 8 strums.
