As we move into adulthood we experience less new things and fall into more static routines, as a result we form much less meaningful memories. Our perception of time passed is just density of meaningful memories.
In short; experience more new thing, and for all intents and purposes, live longer as far as perception is concerned.

yall are trying to sound really smart but it’s simple math, when you’re 2 years old one year is 1/2 of your whole life, when you’re 10 it’s only 1/10 of your whole life, when you’re 20 a year is only 1/20 of your life. Bigger denominators means a smaller number, so each year is a smaller part of your life.

For me 2016, 2018, and 2017 were amazing. Best years of my life. And every year before then was pretty good too. 2019 was just, boring. Not much really happened 2020 and 2021 are both the worst years of my life so far
