  • Nicely balanced speaker IMO. Sometimes the G12K can be a bit too scooped unless you have a Greenback or Vintage 30 to blend with, but on its own the Hempback sounds pretty nice. Similarly large dustcap to the G12K but perhaps more suited to stoner / doom whereas the G12K is better for thrash / TD etc.
    Always important to note that with comparisons like this, you will often naturally prefer the 'first' speaker you hear, and the 2nd one can sound a bit 'phasey' until your ears adjust. To counteract this I recommend using the timestamps below to jump back and forth a bit more than usual.

    I like how the hempback sounds for heavier tones definitely, but I think it'd sound really good layered in a mix with tracks recorded through vintage 30s
