I know more of you guys have probably seen the movie as opposed to play the game, but the game was suprisingly great! I played it recently and I've been really enjoying it. I'm actually not a huge fan of 'beat 'em up'games but this one really caught me off guard. I highly recommend it to everyone who has an Xbox or PS3, because it's really a blast.
Before you comment, I know there are mistakes in the arrangement. I took A LOT of liberty with this one, just because I love it so much and really wanted to change some parts here and there as an exercise of how much I can bend a song to still sound the same. For example, the chord progression is correct, but the actual rhythm guitar chords have changed. The one thing that was actually not intentional was the bridge harmony. I don't know why I arranged it wrong. I think I just didn't take enough time with the section because I was too excited to record the chorus riff because it's so catchy. :)
Also I made a drastic mixing change. Let me know if you notice it. :)
Only two more videos til my break! I'm looking forward to taking some time off so that I can plan out how to really move forward with the channel. See you next week! :D

It was probably great when it came out, although I hear it didn't have online co-op back then. I made the mistake of downloading it from PSN a year ago...and couldn't get a single co-op game to last longer than five minutes, on the rare occasions I found partners at all. Combine that with the fact that you have to play each level with each character to level them up and see their individual endings/special moves...way too much grinding and repetition.
nah man you can get through it alone i played it with friends when they came round i loved it to bits personally i didnt think you had to grind so much its just pretty tough to beat

09Thewilson I'm actually glad it they didn't add online with the game, personally it felt like a great game to actually play with friends locally.
When they finally added online (for £5 for some fucking reason along with wallace as a character). But it's shit, some of the worst net coding ever. Wallace is a carbon copy of Steven Stills too. Such a waste.
You can't see it in this video, but I do actually have the comics on my bookshelves. I love those just as much! :D

After rewatching the movie, rereading the books, and replaying the game (for the 7th time), and listening to this, it makes me wanna cry. I love this freaking series so much.

@Twixgtx Yeah I work full time and going to go to college full time as well. That's probably the biggest reason I'm taking a break, so that I can prepare for when that happens. It's tough finding time but I love it so I make time. I can't get RUclips Partnership yet because my stuff 'is not original enough", and Metroid will be a little while. Sorry. :\

Nowadays, this song puts me to tears. the Scott Pilgrim game and movie was a real influence on my younger self, and the fact that the game was taken down in 2012, freakin broke my heart. I hope to Christ someone managed to emulate it.

@XaleManix There are a lot of ways to improve your technique. I always tell people to use a metronome more and record them selves playing often. Pinoguy321 has a few really awesome videos on getting better at guitar. You should check 'em out. :)

I love what you've done with this song. I'm a fan of anamanaguchi and i think that it's ironic (in the best way) that you covered this song. The way anamana writes almost makes it seem like your instrumentation was their original intention, and that they covered it with an NES. While what really happened was they wrote it with the NES and you covered it with your instrumentation. Almost like the "is this a picture of a vase, or two faces" but, in audio format :D

Holy balls, dude! I love the soundtrack to this game. Anamanaguchi is incredible, and they did a perfect job on this game. And you did an amazing job on this cover. I really wanted to do this one myself, but you just freakin nailed it. And that key change was quite orgasmic if I do say so myself. I second that a Scott Pilgrim medley would be a great idea, possibly to come back from your break.
