Why is nobody talking about the fact that Snufkin called Taffle (idk if I spelled it right) "they" ????

the fandom wiki states that toffle is referred to with they/them in moominvalley (2019) as a reference to the fact that tove originally made toffle a girl but decided to make them a boy

@@mumrikvodnik look at the original batman, before the comic banning any representation of violence, lgbt, etc. characters were like that platonically or just to be lazy. The series is very queercoded. Replace the word friend with 'partner' and like with 'love' and so on.

@@mumrikvodnik well, in the early 20th century blushing was just being modest and often people blushed out of embarrassment. Lgbtqia+ characters back then were extremely offensive Stereotypes only used to tell kids not to be like them. MoominTroll as a character is quite meek and so would get embarrassed easily when being teased about a new friend.
