  • Not one of his best, but one of my favorite Kobe Bryant games. This sums up everything they about his 'never say die' attitude, his killer instinct, his scorer's mentality.
Anyway, Lakers take on New Orleans - the team with the worst record in the conference, who are coming into Staples with 6 PLAYERS injured! I don't want to spoil it so just watch and you will understand :)

Believe it or not this my favorite Kobe game. When he was missing all those shots it was all over espn before the game ended. But I knew he was gonna win the game idk how I just knew it.

You guys' arguments on hating On Kobe is irrelevant. He made the GAME - WINNING shot for the Lakers and won the game.

So many stupid comments here..when you're Kobe and you're left wide open on that many shots, you keep shooting them even if you're 0-20. You're hurting your team by giving up those easy shots.

Despite having such a shitty performance overall.

    This ain't nothing new ?
Kobe has always been known for shooting/bricking his team out of games..And when you miss that many shots, you are bound to make some shots sooner or later..And let's not mention the horrible defense he played in this game..
Kobe is the most overrated player in NBA history..He already got the record for most missed shots in the NBA Finals, and next season he will get the record for MOST MISSED SHOTS IN NBA HISTORY.
    Cue delusional Kobe fans..
    Get at me.

Oh and he's NEVER shot 50% for a season just ONCE in his career..
And don't give me that BS :"Well Kobe takes soooo difficult shots !"
He takes retarded shots with 2-3 defenders on him..that's called poor shot selection..

jimmy6700 gotta love his effort to put up a game like this though.
agree 500% on whatever you wrote. just want to add that, the last 3 pt he made in the game, he totally moved his pivot foot a few times before picking up the dribble.
i think after 14 years i finally saw a little bit of maturity coming from him the season before the last one. still it wasn't all that great either and he had already shown signs of age at 34-35.
it is extremely frustrating to see the so called best player in the league to be so inefficient and immature even with all the years of experience.

This is a perfect example of how different and more efficient Jordan game was comparing to Bryant - when Michael had a terrible shooting night like Kobe here, he was switching to other parts of the game (grabbing rebounds, assists, playing defense). Kobe will take a ton of shots more until he hits one - that's why he has sooo many bad games in terms of scoring %... I expected him to be more wiser and playing on a more mature level as he started to aging but clearly you can see, he will pull those ridiculous 9 footer shots with 2 defenders on him until the day he retires... and Lakers fans are still wondering why no superstar talent in his prime want to come to L.A. and play with Kobe smfh

Mietek23 What are you talking about??If you watched the video Kobe won the game...Who cares about individual FG percentages when you win the game...As long as you get that W, Your statement is irrevelant.

TallPostMan87 He got the win from TEAM performance. That's why WINNING = NOTHING in an individual analysis.
