  • Learning how to draw is hard. ESPECIALLY as an adult. There are so many added layers of complexity involved with picking up a creative hobby in adulthood. The truth is, art is all I've got, and I'm not even good at it.
In this video, I discuss the emotions behind loving a hobby so truly, but being pretty bad at it. It definitely is a rollercoaster of an experience. If you are a beginner artist, or better yet a fellow beginner adult artist, you'll hopefully find this video relatable in more ways than one.
    Enjoy~

I don't think skill is your problem. Rather the topic. Even with your skills if a client sees a view that can be seen outside own window - why pay for it? Though some of your Pinterest art is really cool...

Haha oh gosh, thank you for taking a look at my Pinterest. It's quite a bit outdated 😋 Yes, you do have a good point, art needs to speak to a person in some way for them to want to buy it. Sometimes, it's not about having the skills to create a perfect replica of a scene.
Although this video is about how I view my own art and skill level-and not for the purpose of selling. It's about how discouraging it can be to want to identify by your art, but not being good enough to do so.
