thanx for this one bro ,,,I was really getting confused here :)
You're welcome!
Thanks for doing a video for us! I am from Myanmar and we are facing lots of difficulties as of now but watching you get into an ivy inspires me!
Good luck on ur journey! Keep ur vids coming!
You’re very welcome! Best of luck for the coming application season :)
yo I'm also from Myanmar, is there a way to get in contact with you? p.s. your videos are amazing Tanishk!
Hello I followed all the step and completed it but I don’t see any change in the the college profiles in the dashboard. How do I know if I got the waiver?
Same, let me know please
after how many days will we know that our application fee has been waived when request is sent through common app
And how do I know it's been approved?
They will provide you coupon code to your registered email address 😅
@@ForTy-yh9mli didn't recieve any coupon but my application to university of Houston(90$) is submitted
@@ForTy-yh9ml how long will they take to respond? approx....?
What if we choose any other option? Will we have to provide some kind of evidence?
You can select any of the 8 options you want. In most cases, they would demand no proof at all; however, the only thing you should refrain from is “lying”. That is why the 8th option is the safest: it doesn’t mention a reason for requesting a waiver.
Hope that helps. Like and subscribe :)
Bro which kind of scholarship do you get into UPenn (100% or partial) and what kind of expenses does your scholarship cover.
Hey! I got a 100% tuition+ 50% housing and meals scholarships.
@@TanishkGupta did you apply for it or you were directly considerd , and is it merit ot need based
@@mohammedrida8990 Since Penn is need-aware, I had to select the "Yes, I need financial assistance option." Didn't have to apply separately. It's need-based btw: Ivies don't have merit scholarships.
@@TanishkGupta you selected “i need financial assistance” from the common app or from penn state own application & Thank you alot for replying
From the CommonApp. I had to submit a CSS profile with all my finances as well.
P.S I’m not in Penn State, I’m in UPenn (the Ivy League)
Hey bro I saw your video regarding common app fee waiver. I chose the 8 prompt but in my counsellor report it shows fee waiver report not started. Will that be an issue and should I then certify my school counsellor to send a statement ?
PLZ REPLY!!!
Shouldn’t be an issue. My school counselor didn’t fill that form out either
Did my previous comment get deleted… I cant see it anymore
Oops! I actually deleted and reposted this video (made a silly video ress error). Feel free to ask again :)
What if I am applying with Scoir ?
Can I get scholarship after taking a gap year?
Yes! Scholarships are based on either financial need or merit; no correlation with gap year or no gap year.
do I have to then attach proof or mail collegeboard a statement by my counselor?
No. That’s exactly what I said in the video. You don’t.
@@TanishkGupta oh wow that's really convenient - will they be mailing my counselor to notify her about the same? thanks so much!
@@avisrivastava4140 Nope. The only they would mail your counselor for proof is if you're super rich and still asking for a waiver.
Can i request as an international student?
Can i apply for master through common app for usa
How to register common app... Is there any hidden costs?
No hidden costs.
Hi I'm a mbbs student how can I get into college without tranfer
Hi there! By "without transferring", do you mean you want to start college again?
@@TanishkGupta yes
Whoch app is that
serriously, without any proven?
