Quad SSR Streamliners on the Main South - March 17th 2024

  • Quad Streamliner locomotives CLP12, B75, GM22 and GM10 are seen hauling 3M28 empty SSR ballast wagon transfer from Goulburn to Mirrool, following a weekend of work along the line to Canberra. In this video we see the lash up at multiple locations along the Main Southern line.
    This was also one of B75's first runs along the South in daylight since its recent conversion to Standard Gauge bogies, after spending most (if not all?) its service life on the Broad Gauge in Victoria.

    A streamliner is a passenger train not a loco, but they did make up the motive power they were named covered wagon type I believe as the crew sat up front and the rest was fully covered
