It is so heart warming to hear Chris talk so positively about the experiences he had. I fell that when we see these famous people on stage we almost forget that they are people too and they go through a struggle just like we do.
This means a lot to me because I grew up a very sheltered only child, and never really knew how to interact with kids my age. My dad was in a small metal band until he quit and cut his hair for a better job, so I always had a close connection to "heavy" music. I was always the laughingstock at school because of how socially awkward I was, and I literally had the same two friends from first grade till now. Knowing some of my favorite artists had the same or similar problems reminds me that I'm not alone, and that while it may seem confusing and hopelessly dismal now, you never know what stardom the future could hold.
This is why Chris is an inspiration to me. It seems like he always tries to see the bright side of things! I would love to have an older brother like that! Hugs from Greece!!!!
I relate to Chris a lot. Even though I don't get chased home or bullied to my face, a lot of people like to start rumors about me or talk shit beyond my back. It makes me somewhat happy to know that someone who inspires me a lot went through something similar
God, I relate so much to Chris. I used to get made fun of for being fat and ugly, not saying it's okay to be fat, I'm changing that. But the whole wisdom of understanding why they do it and not being put down by it, I feel like the younger, girl version of him.

My sanctuary was videogames and music. I would say on average the metalheads and rockers have probably the most developed emotional intelligence. Plus a lot of Metal band likes to speak about political, social issues and the problems with the system in their musics, what most people don't care about what in my opinion is dumb.. 😁

A 'week' means everything stay clean and stay strong. I know you have it in you. I've been bullied since nursery and it's never stopped not even now. I chose to hurt myself more by self-harming and I'm 5 months and 20 days clean from self-harming you can do this. It's going to be hard but it will get better with everyone's support and keep listening to music you love it helps a lot.....
