But I wanted to add my doubt in the Concept of time value of Money". Doubt:-If the inflationary in economy(means Inflation rate In Positive),then the value of money decreases if it not invested in fixed Immovable assets. If the inflation rate is become "0" or going Negative due to economic development and also foreign exchange and Import and export with Indian Rupee then the value of Money may in future increases. Please reply on above concern.

mr. laxman receives a provident fund of rs 100000. he deposits in a bank which pays 10% interest. if he withdraws annually rs.20000, how long can he do so? Solve it for me.
Mr. Laxman deposits Rs 100,000 in a bank that pays 10% interest per annum. He withdraws Rs 20,000 annually. We'll calculate how long he can continue withdrawing Rs 20,000 while taking into account the interest earned.
Here's the step-by-step calculation:
1. **Initial Deposit:** Rs 100,000
2. **Interest Rate:** 10% per annum
3. **Annual Withdrawal:** Rs 20,000
In the first year:
- **Interest Earned:** \( 100,000 \times 0.10 = Rs 10,000 \)
- **New Balance:** \( 100,000 + 10,000 - 20,000 = Rs 90,000 \)
In the second year:
- **Interest Earned:** \( 90,000 \times 0.10 = Rs 9,000 \)
- **New Balance:** \( 90,000 + 9,000 - 20,000 = Rs 79,000 \)
We'll continue this calculation until the balance becomes less than the annual withdrawal amount.
| Year | Balance (Start) | Interest Earned | Withdrawal | Balance (End) |
|------|------------------|-----------------|------------|---------------|
| 1 | 100,000 | 10,000 | 20,000 | 90,000 |
| 2 | 90,000 | 9,000 | 20,000 | 79,000 |
| 3 | 79,000 | 7,900 | 20,000 | 66,900 |
| 4 | 66,900 | 6,690 | 20,000 | 53,590 |
| 5 | 53,590 | 5,359 | 20,000 | 38,949 |
| 6 | 38,949 | 3,895 | 20,000 | 22,844 |
| 7 | 22,844 | 2,284 | 20,000 | 5,128 |
After 7 years, the balance will be Rs 5,128, which is less than the annual withdrawal amount of Rs 20,000. Therefore, Mr. Laxman can continue withdrawing Rs 20,000 annually for **7 years** before his balance is insufficient to cover the withdrawal.
