Just bought a 66 and was planning on doing a complete front end swap with a squarebody. I'm so glad I ran into your video! I'm looking at doing exactly what you did. Thanks for the tip!!!
Thanks for the info on this video I have a 65 c10 and wanted to upgrade to disc brakes in the front. I saw another video on swapping out the complete front suspension but that’s a lot more work. The way you did it using the original front and rear A arms and using everything else from the Surburban is a time and money saver !. I want to upgrade the rear end with the 71-72 c10 setup but will everything line up and work properly including the driveshaft? Let me know or if anybody else has done this rear end conversion can help me out
I’m glad to find your video. I’ve got a 71 I’m starting to work on with my daughter. This conversion is somethingI wanted to do for her. I’m in DFW. Do you go to any C-10 events?
CPP and other companies now make adjusting sleeves to where you can keep your original center link and not have to worry about drawing for the idler bracket Are use the proportioning valve and lines from a square body… There was a lot less guesswork and it actually all went right in using all original parts for a squarebody Not saying what’s better or worse from what you did just a lot easier with just the technology of stuff that’s come out now
Can a guy do what you did and leave the stock steering box? I'm not looking to swap to power steering just yet, and when I do I plan on using an electric setup.
I'm doing a conversion on a 65 c10 I got all the parts from a 82 c20 everything is going good I just want to use a different bracket for the pump do you know the part number for the one you used or where did you but? Thank you.
I just found you channel and like it always fun watching with your kind of content. I thought you might like to check it this other channel I follow (Ordinary Guy Garage) almost like you guys are like brothers. I did tell him he should check out your channel.
Hey man, I’m looking for a nice square body Chevy. I am currently living in Texas and I want to know if you’re selling any of yours or know anyone who is selling for around $8000 tops. I know there’s some around, I’d just like your wise input. Thanks man!
Come on back and make some more videos! This is good stuff man.

I used an 86 front end. Had to drill one hole and elongate another. All the frontend parts dropped right into place. (67 C10)
Your 64 looks exactly like my 65. I can't wait to get mine on the road.
Very nice old truck. I love those old Chevy trucks.
