I succeeded to save my tablet with that video but it's a hard job. Pay attention to the way you spread the glue cause you may create bubbles. You don't want that. Thank you Jerry mobile

Just to check a couple of things;
1. Does the glue cover the front camera & proximity sensor points on the glass?
2. How do you stop the glue from getting on the lower buttons? - or does it not matter?

Będę miał do naprawy Huawei MediaPad T3 10. Z tego co się dowiedziałem to ma on klejony digitizer do ekranu. Czy sam hot air na 100*C i drut molibdenowy wystarczą? Kleić z powrotem na klej loca, czy jednak sobie odpuścić przy LCD? Ile gram kleju potrzeba było na ten 10 calowy tablet?

Hello Jerry Mobile I followed your guide for the device of a friend ......... I think the real "problem" for the glass change is the glue. In the tablet that I made there was a really high layer, which I was able to completely remove only after 3 hours of cleaning with a spray called E21 ........

I separated mine didn't cracked it or anything all of a sudden I put it back together and know my motherboard overheats when I use it bought another motherboard to see if that was the issue and it turns out that the cause of my tablet overheating is the lcd that I just fixed I down load a game called dead trigger and the screen goes crazy and that's without loca glue I'm going to use loca glue and see if the problem goes away.

Hi, I have a Galaxy tab 3, I tried to replace the digitizer but it has glue in the middle of the lcd screen and digitizer. I cleaned up the all the glue and lefted with out glue, now the tablet responds slow, with Lag, do I need to add loca glue or the tabled is broken?
we changed one,... became extremely slow ! we did update firmware reset the device but still same ! we tried then other supplier... same thing occur !! its a wrongly manufactured part probably what main board doesnt like ! CORRECT? do u have original part it? SM-T580

A Dremel/Drill plus a long cotton swap is a great way to remove gunk, in my inexpert opinion

u open the back case wrong... first step is 1:55 the plastic back will follow the gold frame.
how much glue do you recommend to use?? 5ml? 15ml 50ml. when actually placing it on the LCD before the glass goes on top???

What is the layer under the glass? The black plastic film that you leave on. I accidentally got under it with the razor blade and damaged it. I had really bad shatter that was impossible to stay under (kept cutting string) so I ended up pulling he whole thing up after it was damaged. What is the layer and how do I find it?
Shawn that's the polariser, you can replace it, it's just even more of a pain to do than replacing just the glass

welll.....i screw my touch screen too....so i bought the glass from a guy who works in a factory with10 dollars...and he told me i need somekinda Pro-Vacuum-screen-press-machine if i wanna replace it by myself......can i just put on some glue and stick the new screen on it then put some havy stuff on it and put it in front of fen to blow it dry?????????????????

I know this is a stupid question, but.. my samsung galaxy tab s got cracked at one corner, and the thin plastic(?) thing covering the screen didn't have any damage, but the glass under it got cracked pretty badly. That simply means the glass is broken and can be replaced, right? And not that the display or anything important related to the device's system is damaged?
By the sounds of it, you cracked the AMOLED/LCD Display that's under the glass.
You can't replace this part alone. If people tried, they'd get complaints by customers for recieving damaged items since AMOLED is literally a piece of thin glass. It's very fragile
Привет! Сделал свой 8,4". Дольше всего времени заняла очистка дисплея от геля. Хотел спросить: Ты говорил будет видео с Т800 (10,5"). Оно не получилось? Есть ли отличия в стекле под Т805 и Т807 ??? Там какой-то контроллер кнопок видимо находится, и снять его нереально без повреждений, насколько я понял. Я прав? Спасибо за твои видео!

Jerry thanks for video. On the older tablets the glass had a connector that plugged into the tablet. How does the tab s identify when the glass is touched? Also, can this be repaired without using the special glue and uv light? Thanks
+adriangwatson oc course You can put new glass without LOCA glue, but after some time will be dirt between glass and LCD.
In new Samsung tablets and smartphones digitizer working without glass too. Digitizer is integrated with the screen so theoretically You can using device without this glass (but it is dangerous for the screen - of course the screen is very expensive).

@@StreetKingz4Life LCDs are nothing compared to the super AMOLED screens the newer Samsung tablets use. Replacing it on my Tab s6 would've cost $405. Because of the way the super AMOLED screens is designed, virtually no one would just replace the glass, as shown here. Unlike LCD and regular AMOLED, Samsung's new super AMOLED panels basically integrated all the most important layers -- the digitizer, the AMOLED panel, and the front glass -- into a single layer. Because there is now no air space between layers, Samsung claims that the displays are brighter while using less energy. And basically unfixable without a total replacement.

Verbrannte Displays bzw Polarizer sind dein Markenzeichen, oder? Das sah bei dem Note Edge Video schon sehr abenteuerlich aus und hier wieder. Diesen Gasbrenner halte ich nicht für optimal. Ich hoffe es macht kein anderer nach :)

I tried replcing the glass on my samsung tab s 8.4 and now the screen/lcd is different colours because I held the heat on too long, I want replace it but I just found out the for the replcements on the website I was looking at, the price was more then I paid for the tablet. I dont know what to do

Na, not even going to bother. Too much work for a tablet. Samsung needs to make their shit either too tough to break or make it easier to fix or bye bye with their shit. Same with Apple and any other brands that are just messing with our money. Might try the CAT phone with the rugged design and FLIR just because why not

@@sjkali408 the supplies are in his description. He gives the links for each product. As for the LOCA glue, you use UV light on not heat, to cure. About 10 mins in sunlight or less using the UV lamp.

Don't you need something to make sure the LOCA doesnt cover the button and sensors?
Run a bead of loca around the edge first and it won't overflow.

I need help i've dropped my Samsung Galaxy S2 9.7 and the screen went black, now when I go to turn it on I press my thumb against the home button and I can here the chime telling me I unlocked my tablet then when I press the volume rocker the sound rises and lowers then when I turn it off the chime come on again. So its working but no screen. Also I've tried to shine a flashlight onto the screen and i don't see noting on the screen could have the led screen gone out? Please help me. And is it fixable?

+Jesua Antonio it is possible becouse digitizer is factory connected with the SuperAmoled screen. In the other phones (for example Sony Xperia J) the digitizer is connected with the glass. So, glass is not necessary for Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.8 (Note 2, Galaxy S4 and more) but I recommend using device with glass (will be safer).

Bad news for me, cracked my Tab S 8.4 this morning in bathroom (tile floor), asked mobile repairers around and no one can fix the glass unless changing the lcd screen, that means bloody expensive, costs more than what the device's worth. I don't think I can change the glass according to the video, it's beyond my capability I'm afraid. Fxxk!

There are no backlight in AMOLED screens. All of the Amoled screens are waterpoof

We Cast the touch screen wil not work allways so you have to put your tablet in standby and then will it work again i dont use glue and it works for me just so i dont mess up with glue
