The *1 or /1 always seems useless but it's in a lot of Nerdles that I have done.
Unrelated question, but you seem to have played a lot, was there ever an answer with =0x in it?
(07,08,04,etc.)

@@jonathanbost8427 ok tnx, how about 3-digit and 4-digit numbers, and negative numbers as part of the equation?
@@jootpepet The numbers can be however long as fits (I've seen many 3-digit numbers, not sure about 4-digit but probably). The answer won't be a negative number (they don't do something like 3-5=-2) but subtraction is still obviously a thing to the left of the equal sign. The first number won't be negative though.

Got it in 5 today!! Really tricky because I didn’t know the number could become a decimal number at any point. Still was happy with that and it was my second Nerdle ever! I think I might start doing it everyday now along with Wordle, Worldle, Globle, Mathler, Crosswordle, and Poeltl.

There's an NFL version called Weddle, but as of today, it's offensive players only.

I have a few Wordle variations you can try:
1. Sexagintaquattuordle (64 Wordles)
2. Kilordle (1000 Wordles)

I actually got it in my second guess today, but I have the commutative answer option On ,so my guess was actually 21/7*3=9
Got pretty lucky on that one
Also my initial guess in nerdle is normally 4*6-3=21

i dont like the commutative answer option bc it makes it too easy
thats a really good initial guess, it checks for 2 operations and 5 different numbers, i might start to use it
@@gingermclovin i dont like non-commutative because guessing placements involves more luck. I only play with logic
For Nerdle I like to use 12+35=47 as a starter, and if there's either no + or it's in the wrong spot, I go 90/6-8=7.
That way you use all the digits and 3/4 of the operations
I got this on 6 today, I was really hoping I’d see a video on this since this was probably my toughest nerdle yet, I genuinely didn’t know decimals could be involved at any point
I got 21/7*3=9 which it accepted because of commutative rule and it is a much cleaner expression

I got it in 6 but we needed like the whole family to figure out 1 nerdle

This one was a really hard one to wrap my head around. I managed to get it in 4, but that's only because I got 5 purples and the last three teal on my third guess.
The 5th guess couldn"t be correct due to the 7 info in row 1.
I always start with 9×6/3=18. Gets info on half the digits and half the operators.

Very tricky today! I recommend trying the crosswordle for 4/17 but without repeating letters. I did this challenge and got it in 9:48! Good Luck!
I actually got it in 2 yesterday. I got very lucky on my first guess and wanted to use unique operators on my second and put this in!
4:22 You could've seen it wasn't the correct answer before guessing because the 7 was purple in the first equation :)

I got it in 4 after a 20 minute struggle for the final guess.
I got it in 5 with 3x21/7=9. . But it changed my answer to the one Scott got. I guess it's the commutative answer

I got it on 4 today, which isn’t bad for something this unusual. Had to think about it for a while and I couldn’t think of that many options so it was more process of elimination

Have you and your sons tried weddle yet? It's an NFL version of Poetl(offensive players only as of now).
If you go on hard mode, it does all offense, defense, and special team players (Punter, Kicker, Long Snapper)
It adds a whole new dimension on Weddle. As far as I can tell, you have to complete the normal mode for the day first before going to hard mode.

I got it in 5 my first guess was 15/3+2=7
From that I got the position of the equals sign and just rearranged all the numbers to get 7-12/3=3
Now I thought it had to be a 3 digit divided by a 2 digit so I went with 216/27=8
At this point I was stumped because I figured out the / sign had to be second and the * sign had to be used so for it to work so I went with 9/3*9=27 just to see if I was right
Now I had the positions of the 2 and all the operations and all 5 digits used but I couldn’t think of anything that worked (since I didn’t know decimal numbers were involved) so I just kept trying the different combinations of numbers until one worked
My first, and likely last, one I got before Scott.
I had / and 7 in the first guess so I kept moving it around til I had only one option left
Yeah that was tricky.. Got it at 4 cause luckily I got =9 at the beginning.. still a tough one tho..
