Hi, When I do landmine punches I don't go too heavy because I like to do at least 8 reps so I only load 50kg on it, would you recommend going heavier with lower reps? Cheers mate!
very late reply but if you’re trying to improve endurance go for light weight high reps if you’re trying to increase punching power go for heavy weight low reps
This is mainly a powe excercise, so you really don´t want to use a very high weight. Boxers normally use the barbell by itself and sometimes they use elastic bands attached to the feet and the barbell. The strong ones may put on some plates but never more than 15 kgs, because again, you really want to be able to do this very fast
Superset 1 push-up with four hand raises like your trying to touch the roof then 2 pushups and 8 hand raises then 3/12 4/16 5/20 6/24 and 7/28 then come all the way back down until you hit 1 push-up and four hand raises again
For db you would be supine pushing away to get as close to the movement as pos. In a standing position, gravity would apply an unnatural downward force. Sport specific would be ballistic but building capacity is quiet important so your usual cycle is required first e.g. a linear run in 12 reps for 2 sets @ 0/2/0/2 meso 1 etc. If you're in shape a modified weekly dup ...?
Starts at 0.56
Thanks so much for this. How do I work out how much weight to use for the three exercises?

When you switch to your non dominant hand do you have to switch your stance too?
You can, but you don't have to if you want to train the jabbing motion
Awesome Video... thank you
Hi! I was wondering how much the average pro boxer can landmine press in 1 arm? Thank :)

Start heavier and then lower the weight. You want volume mostly

No weights needed except the body
