Yep, that was Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones. Some of the other “fans” shown were Nick Lachey from 98 Degrees and the host of the Sing-off, Hoda Kolb, Christina Perri, Victoria Justice, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Todrick Hall, Tori Kelley, and Haley Steinfeld. Everyone looked like they were having such blast!
Fun Reaction. Another upbeat song is Come Along. Fun video is Todrick Hall featuring Pentatonix in The Wizard of Ahhhs.
They also used this song, but altered the lyrics for when they were asked to do the music introduction for Thursday night football by the NFL several years ago.
This one has a special place in Scott's heart. He co-wrote it. If you look at his and his husband Mark's social media from their wedding last summer, Mark's large extended family managed to plan and execute a surprise family performance to this song at their wedding reception.
I’ve been looking all over for that footage and haven’t found it yet.

I have this song multiple times on my running playlist because you just can’t help but get energized!! I get happy feet!!
It is an early PTX original and I feel like it encompasses the vibe of the group so well. They can certainly sing any style of music, but no matter what, they always infuse it with a sense of joy, hope, and optimism because that is who they are. They are truly good people who love what they do and who they do it with and for.
Another cover they do where both Kevin and Matt rap is their live performance of "Joyful, Joyful "
They both rap on Pentatonix mashup "Butter x Dynamite". That video is pretty awesome too. I love Pentatonix Live From The Evergreen Experience version of "Joyful, Joyful". I hope that they will react to it.

This is the Pentatonix original song that has had the most airtime on tv. They’ve performed it for a children’s celebration concert a few years ago, and I’ve heard it used as background music on various tv shows from American Idol to Superstore.
They also changed up the lyrics and performed it as a promo for the NFL.

One of the celebrity cameos is Hoda Kotb, co-host of NBS's Today show. She's a Pentatonix fan and has had them on the show to promote albums. The year this came out (2015) they were on the show all morning, performing three songs from their self-titled originals album and chatting with the hosts. One of the other hosts said that Hoda had spent a long time in her dressing room, practicing and filming her lip-synch for "Sing" and Pentatonix used about four seconds of it. The big crowd at the end of the video (which I was disappointed you didn't show; usually you're very good about watching the video to the end) were a bunch of fans of PTX; they announced on Patreon that they would be filming part of a music video at a certain place and time, and if anyone wanted to be in it, just show up - so the fans did!

I call it the song of joy. This is one of my top five original songs of theirs.
Such a fun song from their first full CD of original music. There was only one remake on the CD and it was a lesser known R&B song that was a really good remake.
There were several celebrity cameos in this one.
Another fun fact....The skating rink they filmed some of this at was where Avi had his first job.
The group was very surprised at how many people showed up at the pier.

Fun reaction to one of their best originals. Lots of fan and celebrity snippets of video for sure. I didn’t know if you heard Kevin say he was a “ Human 808” which I researched and it refers to the Roland TR808 Rhythm machine, created in 1980 as a pioneer in drum machines. You have done so many songs and there are so many left in their catalog.

They used this to start the show in the concert tour last year when they came to Adelaide in Australia. It was a phenomenal start to the show. I forked over the sheckles to get seats in the second row and you could feel the percussion from the beats and the "Sing" move our pants, incredible show. I actually managed to record the start, before deciding to put the phone away and just enjoy the show, and put it on my profile.
