Always love the time and knowledge you share... And yes.. I'm always practicing but it's nice to catch little breathers and refreshers for balance... Stay well
Thank you so much for your tips, I've discovered your channel very recently as I'm wanting to start learning the DJ profession. I've always loved music A LOT and looking in a career change. But, as someone who's only done researches for now, I'm very confused on where to start, what gear to use. I've been reading so many different opinions rgaring what brand is best Pioneer, Denon, Roland, Numark, etc. and software Rekorbox, Serato and so on... Very confusin for someone that doesn't know from where to start. Also considering that I'd like to buy a gear that could last me few years and don't need to update too early. A gear I can grow on it. And also the question is, better to have a all-in-one gear or a controller plus a laptop? Many people that are DJing in clubs or events or cafes are using Pioneer and suggest to buy that as it is the standard. Also if you need to play on someone else gear at a cafe or event, most likely they are using a Pioneer, so better to use rekordbox and save your playlist on an USB. BUT is it really like that??? Thank you SO MUCH!!!!!!
Get a rekordbox controller, either the DDJ-400 or the DDJ-800. You can learn on it, it will last you years, and it will prepare you for playing on Pioneer DJ club gear.
