- My 787D dream project of building the wildest drift car I could think of is now alive with the concept to also build the worlds first 5rotor! This engine has been 4 years in the making with PPRE and assembly done in 2022. It has taken me and Kei Miura San of Rocket Bunny to build the wildest chassis / body combo which I’ll go into detail in another clip.

I knew you had the 5 stashed away Mikey but i was not expecting it to be put into something like this at all, the car looks wild!
Can't wait to hear this thing ripping on the track and really get a sense of the unique 5 rotor sound. It's so loud it's kinda hard to tell on the videos but it definitely has that I5/V10 like exhaust note.

What A Sweet Sweet Sound!!!! I love 2J’s and RB’s and Even Some Honda Motors but there is NO BETTER SOUND THAN A STRAIGHT PIPED ROTARY OR A ROTARY ENGINE PERIOD!!!!! Makes Your Heart Beat Faster Every Time You Hit The Throttle!!!!

This is awesome, I always assumed there was some… resonance or balancing issue that stopped people from building a 5 rotor.

I've said it before and I'll say it again Mike... Formula Drift needs to open the rule book to full tube chassis cars, either that or you need to consider taking Drift Shifters global and opening it up to tube chassis cars like this one and Daigo's gnarly Maclaren...6 events a year...you can do it Mikey!!! lol

Sorry that Hot Wheels went and spoiled the surprise. I’m just glad it’s real! The 787B was given a real raw deal in the motorsports officiating despite being revolutionary and I’m happy to see that the 787D honors that wondrous machine

It's not it's front engined for starters, not to mention the chassis is using fd rx7 pick up points for the suspension
