I can't believe that someone has FINALLY reacted to this song and band!!! I have begged others to react to this, but no one ever would...until now!! You're the only one to touch this song!!! If you ever have the opportunity, please check out another song by them called First Class. It is FIRE!!!! You are GREAT!!!!
My 30-year old daughter turned her 64-year old father on to this band and I LOVE THESE GUYS!! Pull up their interviews on uTube and make sure u r sitting down for insight on how they got started.BTW, they are headlining concerts now in their short history. They have 4 albums out (I have them all), the first was released in 2015, then 2018, then 2019, and then 2020. Mark Speer, white guy with the long hair, is the brains behind this group and he fills the empty spaces with his guitar licks after Laura Lee lays down the bass notes while DJ pretty much stays in the pocket while holding the beat. Some recommendations for you: Maria Tambien, Friday Morning, Evan Finds the Room, How I Love, Hasta El Cielo, How I Love, Pelota, Mr. White, and White Gloves should hook you into this band. Great reaction......go ahead and jump hard down this rabbit hole. Pronounced KRU-ING-BIN
your reaction to those tempo-changing transitions at 6:28 and 7:30 (and the others that follow) earned you my full soulful respect - this is precisely how this track and group moves me. my brother. sub'd & liked!
Mark Speer (Guitarist) and Donald Ray Johnson (Drummer) met while both were Gospel musicians at St. John's Methodist Church, Houston, TX (aka the Knowles' family church, as in Beyonce Knowles). (Khruangbin is pronounced 'Krung-bin.') If you can find it on YT, check out Khrungbin's live show from Coachella 2019 - Best show of the festival!

Sickest trio in the game…
This song is fire, but like a warm comfortable fire.
I got hip to these guys a few years ago and was lucky enough to see them in a small venue before they took off. Killer band.
Likewise, saw them in 2015 in a tiny venue in london

Isley Brothers vibe
I was thinking the same thing. Reminds me of Footsteps In The Dark, in some parts of the song.
@@gigijenn225Mark said Ernie is one of his guitar inspirations and models his tone after him! 👌🏽
Great band. Great choice. Check out collaboration with Leon Bridges...Texas Sun. Killer stuff.
