I find it somewhat depressing that I learn more from Sam than I do during an hour and a half lecture twice a week. One's free and the other costed me nearly 1000 for just the semester. I also remember that episode of mythbusters. Bamboo is a lot tougher than you'd think and grows really fast. There's more details I know of but I'll spare you guys that. I sometimes forget most people aren't as desensitized as I am to humanities sadistic tendencies.
That bamboo torture sounds like a really long and agonizing process. Humans can be such cruel assholes to each other. I wish people would use creativity to make others lives better instead of causing pain and suffering.
We do. If you pay attention to history, you'll see that the world and life in general have almost always moved in a positive direction over time. The only way this is possible is if our positive creativity has outpaced our destructiveness. Life is safer, kinder, longer and more prosperous now than it has ever been, and despite the efforts of ratings-hungry mass media to trick people into thinking things are always getting worse, it continues to get better. If we were just a bunch of cruel assholes who use our creativity for evil, then we would still be cave-men murdering each other over access to the nearest watering hole, and no one would think something like Bamboo Torture was unusual or wrong.
When you said bamboo i thought you were going to talk about how they would cut it and then let it growe underneath your your fingernails. God gave Asia a natural torture device
6:35 I’m bringing that bastard to Popeyes!😂😂😂😂
