Well the fundamental problem is cognitively apes even with the ability speak through sign language can't really ask questions. Like you can show them what a cup is and they can sign cup but they won't ask for a cup of water.
it's likely one of those old school vacuums that are just less powerful shop vacs I mean if she is looking at human dongs all day she would probably associate something like that for self pleasure.

In order to even consider a species to be protected or whatever you’re looking to do, you need to do research. What’s their mating rituals like? Where are their nurseries? How do they interact with each other? How do they get their food? You can’t go up to someone and ask for an animal to be protected without anything to back up why they need to be and what is threatening them. There’s no such thing as too much research. The whole vacuum thing though is fuckin’ weird though

If you are going to keep an animal like that in captivity you need to think of it as a person and give it everything it needs to be happy.
Even then, it's still kind of messed up. I just don't know how to feel about it.
