I have homework to do; I've heard of Mr Manley, but never paid much attention to the Caribbean area. As an Indigenous woman, I'm more concerned with what's happening to my people here on the mainland US. I do love the way this lady speaks; she reminds me of the few Black women leaders we had here in the US like Barbara Jordan and Shirley Chisholm. Everything she is saying about the climate problem is on point; the "developed nations" like the US really don't give a damn about the small countries; look how it treats Puerto Rico and Hawaii. She's so accurate, it's frightening.

We Caribbean peoples cannot look to those who develop themselves of 200 years of free slaves labour and 100 years of colonization and exploitation, but look to those who develop themselves without using such methods.

While the people in Barbados are suffering under her watch, she can find time to walk around the world talking foolishness. I am from Barbados and we are suffering over and she is running the country by remote control. She is the worst PM in the history of Barbados.
