Love these videos. I just turned 37 and find myself reaching for the classic, gentlemanly fragrances, e.g., Eau Sauvage, Beau de Jour, Pasha, I even have a bottle of Pinaud in the dopp. With the price hikes, and the state of economy, I can’t in good conscience spend a lot with having a family, so these help me hone in on those select few. Thank you!

How about "panty droppers fragrance". If that was indeed the case that fragrance would be impossible to get because it would be sold out world wide. No woman is going to do anything just because of a smell. Yes she might find the smell intriguing but if you don't have your complete A-game nothing will be that easy.

Well, thank you sire. I watched a few of your videos. We're all smart intelligent people but somehow we fall into this trap and I was personally investing my time and testing different fragrances. I spent more than I have ever on any single fragrance bottle. Thankfully I snapped out of it. Returned two of the latest unopened bottles and hooray I'm healed.

I give Curly Fragrance props because she understands her demographic and she is playing to the lowest common denominator. If a male fragrance reviewer opened their video with “Put your vagina in a good position, and let’s get into it!”…they would get cancelled on RUclips.
Curly Fragrance, has come along way in developing her nose and I think she gives solid reviews for the most part, but let’s be honest…she gets 100,000 views because she is so beautiful. Again, that is not an insult, but let’s be honest.
I think women fragrance reviewers can become “obsessed with a fragrance”, simply because they are usually emotionally driven and that makes sense in that expression.
Another phrase that I hate is “Panty Dropper Fragrance”….Listen, if she tells you that your fragrance made her drop her panties, she is expecting to get paid afterwards…😂

Great video! Agree with you about these phrases. I am a female reviewer and I don’t think I have ever said that I am obsessed with a fragrance. But I am a small channel and will not ever accept free bottles because it does bring pressure even if there is no written agreement! I was given a sample set at an event and didn’t think the fragrances lived up to their price point (Mona di Orio, the new line) and since this shop had given me the samples I felt restricted. Didn’t want to say bad things. From that day I don’t even accept sample sets. If I purchase an expensive fragrance and I get a sample or two with my purchase, that is fine.
Mr. Smelly, you are the man! Do not hold back and tell us what you really think. And, BTW, you the only reviewer who actually introduces us to new fragrances and not the same, old tired lists as everyone else. I may be a Yankee, but I get you. Don't change.

Seriously though, I'm glad that you brought this up. It's great to have a branding in one's videos, which includes how to look and speak. But some phrases can get overused and out of hand. Great for catching attention but weird when looked further into.
Excelent message you sending out into this community Dan! There are more hidden phrases to look out for, which you can tell a reviewer might be less objective than he/ she sais he/ she is. For example; a reviewer is revisiting a perfume he/ she didn't like in the beginning and all of a sudden he/she loves it. Could be ofcause, but when you see the same perfume revisited on more channels almost at the same time, that's a red flag to me. Or when a new perfume hits the market and multiple channels all at once talk positive about it, without one being negative or less enthousiast, it's another red flag to me.
It's kinda fishy when the latest releases are always the best in the line🤔
Excatly! Ten reviewers receive the same package of samples and one full bottle and all review them at the same time. Big red flag!

Royal Mayfair is boo boo. Can’t stand the eucalyptus lime combo , and supposedly if you can tolerate that then it’s a decent fragrance. But who wants to have to overlook the medicinal brightness

I get bored of any fragrance reviewer introducing a fragrance by saying, "A fragrance which needs no introduction" and then they proceed to spend the next 2 minutes introducing it.
Plus Fragmental using the term "more rounded" for a review of any EDP/Parfum flanker!!

Royal Mayfair is the only Creed I don't like, other than Cedre Blanc from their Aqua Originale line. Royal Mayfair's eucalyptus is so camphorous it smells like a blast furnace from a mothballs factory.
Ralph Lauren Safari for Men is great. It is VERY similar to YSL Jazz.
"No such thing as niche quality". Then why do Creed fragrances smell so damned natural? And why did Pierre Bourdon say that Olivier Creed always went out and sourced his compositions with the best quality ingredients? Maybe its not exclusively niche vs. designer quality, but there does seem to be a variance of quality among brands.
