    A lot of countries require a negative Covid-19 test result and a 'fit to fly certificate' for international travellers. I'm Dr Adam Abbs, and in this short video, I'll explain what a fit to fly certificate is, the requirements for Covid-19 testing, and important things to consider before choosing a testing provider.

    Gotta love it how they call it "fit to fly".

    If your flight gets delayed, you have to take the test all over again. That's crap.

      That is the tragic part about all this .. ppl stand a high chance of wasting money time energy trying to travel .. get a nice road trip I guess .. trying to go to college now gotta find a ticket that fits in with the 72 hr time frame they want negative results .. 3 different rescheduled tickets later every bus was delayed by a few hrs smh .. now have to get tested again and try to rebook a ticket with good timing .. while preparing for delayed near cancelled transportation .. the domino effect is terrible

    Guys whag does recovery of proof mean? If I have an email stating I tested positive 2 months ago, will the airlines accept that as proof of recovery ?

    So you need to book a Dr's appointment for a specific day, at this point that's it for me. What about the fact you can show positive 90 days after getting over covid? etc etc.

    Hi
    My brother has tested positive in Madrid and is due to isolate until 06/06/2021. I am aware that test results can take up to 90 days to show negative. Please can I ask for advice on how we can get him home to the UK ASAP?

      If you have proof he’s had it in the last 90 days he should be able to use that instead of a Covid test depend on your airline and airport tho

      Some of us will never see Blighty again. I hope your brother is allowed to go home. I have been a traveller all my life and I never want to be locked down for a whole winter so I'm just carrying on. By hook or by crook I shall remain free.

    • @rickycv4015
      @rickycv4015 3 года назад

      The valid one was done on the 4th.
      The one made on the 3rd was denied.
      (Yes, I had to do it twice just to be safe and make sure one of the results to be done before the flight).

    • @rickycv4015
      @rickycv4015 3 года назад +4

      @atskip it counts from your flight departing time.
      Mine was at 9:00pm so there was no place for me to do the test at 9:01pm on Feb 3rd so I did my test in the afternoon on the 3rd. This got rejected when boarding.
      But just in case I did an additional test on Feb 4th in the morning, this got accepted because was in the 72 hours period.
      The 72 hours count from your flight time not the day (if you want to see it that way)
