Speaking of which, Bruce conducted the Knightfall Protocol after taking out Scarecrow because he unmasked him and revealed his identity, much to Bruce's and Alfred's last thing to happen. Highly unlikely to get another Batman Arkham game without Batman around. Sure you could argue that the Batman is still alive in the ending cutscene, but maybe just the thug's fear that got into their minds.
