  • Hey people just a few clips from todays walk hope you enjoyed it or learnt something from it.
I just want to note a few things I did not mention in the video!!
these snakes are highly venomous and should be treated with caution and given their space the point of this video is to demonstrate that snakes are not out to hurt people they just want to have nothing to do with us! I don’t condone handling wild reptiles unless trained.

I was working on my car in northern Sydney and I'd pulled a pile of black rubber hoses out and left them on my bench, when I went to grab the hoses one of them it started to move.
Apparently a Red Belly had thought he'd found a girlfriend and curled up with them, thankfully apart from crapping myself I wasn't hurt. 😂🇦🇺

About 12 years ago while spraying long grass I came across a black belly about 3-4m long, thick as a fore arm, and ran for my life when it turned towards me haha. Checkout Cumberland state forest just past the koala park on castle hill Rd, heading towards castle hill. Loads of snakes in that bush land. Used to work in the IBM complex behind the nursery within the forest, during warmer months came across black belly almost once a week along the creek there, I wasn’t ever trying to pick them up. Haha

Red Belly, Tiger ,Brown and green tree snakes are abundant all over Mount Druitt, St Mary`s Marsden Park and all the areas Parramatta to Emu Plains Liverpool and Richmond . I am talking in residential areas not just bush land and with summer it pays to be careful and keep the lawns mowed and remove all rubbish .Milk on the ground is well noted for attracting tiger snakes. Abundant bird life in your yards will also attract snakes of any type.
